Because he is the son of the lotus, the great self-nature of the place revered by gods and humans, and the supreme person who dwells well in the land of auspiciousness. Therefore, to generate such a Bodhicitta, one must rely on the causal key instructions mentioned above and have a genuine experience of the desire to benefit others. If such an experience does not arise, it is impossible to genuinely generate the mind that desires to attain perfect enlightenment for the sake of others. If such a mind does not arise, even if some contrived mental transformations arise, they will not turn into the path of a Bodhisattva, and therefore the realization of the path will not be achieved. For all sentient beings, the happiness from gods and humans to the ultimate omniscience, along with its causes, and the supreme state of enlightenment that one will attain in the future, along with its causes, are the goals of generating the mind at this time. In order to accomplish the benefit of all beings, I first want to attain supreme enlightenment. At this time, the goal of such a mind must include all the benefits of oneself and others as mentioned above. If this is not done, it is impossible to generate the desire to attain perfect enlightenment for the sake of others as it should be. The object of grasping of this Bodhicitta can be established, because the nature of the meaning on the two benefits must be established as the object of its grasping. Moreover, its nature can also be established, because it is the special Vijnanavada (唯识) of the Great Vehicle, which focuses on the two benefits. The goal of one's companion's desire is supreme enlightenment, the object of its grasping is the aspect of supreme enlightenment to be attained, and its nature is the desire arising from the mind. Although the main mind of Bodhicitta itself is not in the form of pursuing meaning by its own power, it is transformed into a form of pursuing meaning by the power of companions. Mipham Rinpoche, considering this, said: 'Bodhicitta is for the sake of others, desiring perfect and complete enlightenment.' Third, the method of finally turning the mind towards the Dharmata (法性) of ultimate truth and practicing meditation, is divided into the actual method of meditation and investigation. The first part is divided into the common method of meditating on selflessness and the uncommon method of meditating on non-conceptual freedom from elaboration of our own school. The first part is divided into the method of meditating on the selflessness of persons and the selflessness of phenomena. The first part is: first, settle your mind, and then the way to do the post-investigation, in general, yourself... --------------------------------------------------------------------------------

When benefits or harms occur, what is particularly evident is that clinging to the self, that deep-seated 'I'. Now, just as it appears to cling to the self at that time, it is very important to have a clear appearance in one's own mind through various causes and methods. Then, without letting such an 'I' sink into the depths of consciousness, open a window to analyze with a corner of the mind, and analyze as follows: If, like clinging to the self, there is a truly self-sufficient 'I', then it must exist in either the true 'one' or 'many'. If it exists in the true 'one', then the five skandhas (Sanskrit: pañca-skandha, the five aggregates, the elements that constitute individual existence) that are the basis must be either all, individually, or collectively 'one'. If it is the true 'one' with each skandha, then either all five skandhas become 'one', or they become five 'I's, and there is no other possibility, which is not reasonable. Or, if it is the true 'one' with the collection, then that collection must be the true and self-sufficient 'I'. If so, then the collection will no longer be a dependent imputation, but will become a self-sufficient independent existence. If so, then the collection will not depend on its basis and must become something else unrelated to it, which is impossible to know. Therefore, if a true 'one' 'I' cannot be found in any way, then the 'many' must arise from the accumulation of 'one', because if there is no basis for creation, it is impossible to establish the essence of creation, so the true 'many' cannot be found in any way either. Therefore, if there is no essence of the true 'one' and 'many' 'I', then in general, if a basis exists, it must exist in either 'one' or 'many'. If it exists in neither 'one' nor 'many', then it is certain that it does not exist in any way. In this way, for the 'I' that is clung to, it cannot be found anywhere in the mind, in the realm of complete emptiness, in a state where the certainty of that realm has not disappeared, abide single-mindedly in the completely certain non-existence, etc., must be practiced in this way. Second, meditating on the absence of self of phenomena (Sanskrit: dharma-nairātmya, the absence of inherent existence of all phenomena): All internal and external phenomena are merely imputed to the collection of many parts, and apart from imputation, if one searches for the true nature in each part or as a whole, one cannot find anything that can be established as a phenomenon. It is only through sound and concepts, relying on the basis, that it is expressed and appears, and it is only on the basis of appearance that a mere name is applied, and apart from that, there is not even a sesame seed's worth of true self-existence. For example, if it is a vase, then on its basis, such as the neck, belly, etc. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
