It is for the sake of understanding conduct. Moreover, this combination is determined to be twenty-seven, such as severance, etc. Therefore, it is the wheel of twenty-seven combinations. Fifth, regarding the certainty of action: In the scripture, it says, 'For actions, multiply the date number by the eyes (i.e., 2), subtract the moon, and divide the remainder by 7.' The meaning is to multiply the date number by 2, meaning that two actions appear on each day. Removing one from that means removing the unchanging action that appears in the first half of the first day. Dividing the remainder by 7 means determining that there are seven changing actions. Therefore, whatever action appears on the chart is the action that appears in the latter half of that day, and the action of the first half should be understood by implication. To explain the difficult-to-understand points in detail, it is divided into the main topic and supplementary explanations of other meanings. The first part includes examining the past and present planets and examining the missing and surplus of dates. The first part is further divided into refutation and establishment. First, the refutation: Some say that the planets that appear on the date calculation chart are the planets that are being enjoyed on that day. Because in the scripture, when inquiring about the eternal sound, it is mentioned that the letter 'one' is the diagram of the sun, and the letter 'two' is the diagram of the moon, and so on. Moreover, Abhayākara (a commentator) says in the 'Treatise on Entering the Kālacakra': 'The planets such as the sun can be understood through numbers such as one.' Moreover, at the end of the four great periods, when the planets enter emptiness and then arise from emptiness again, what does it mean when 'one' appears in the planetary position on the first day? It means that the sun appears on that day.' It is unreasonable for them to say this. Because these quotations only say that the letter 'one' is the diagram of the sun and the letter 'two' is the diagram of the moon, they do not say that these planets are being enjoyed on the date calculation chart, so the proof is the same as what is to be proven. At the end of the four great periods, is the daytime calculation of the first day when the planets enter emptiness and then arise from emptiness again merely giving the usual enjoyment, or is it a detailed calculation of the feet? If it is the former, then the letter 'one' will not appear in the planetary position, because only the usual enjoyment of the date, i.e., fifty-nine hours, etc., is given. If it is the latter, then the sun will not immediately reach the beginning position of the constellation Thāskar on that day, because the position of the sun constellation is emptiness, and the hours... --------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Then, what is it that appears on the fifteenth day? Because the sun travels more than four hours each day, it has been about three days since arriving at the tail star (Thaskar). If you admit this, then on the sky void of the previous day, the sun should not have entered the course. If you also admit that, then the sun will not enter that void, which contradicts your own commitment. Furthermore, the beginning of the first day of that date, the beginning of Sunday, and the beginning of the moon's enjoyment of the tail star are not simultaneous. Because more than forty-five hours have passed since dawn on that day. And Sunday starts from dawn. The first inference is established, because the first day ends when fourteen hours of that day have passed. Moreover, from dawn, the moon has passed more than fifty-four hours on the chart from the tail star. Furthermore, as you now believe, the stars of the moon, sun, etc., that appear on the date calculation chart are also in their current positions, because the reason is the same. Also, the constant enjoyment of one month is twenty-nine solar days, thirty-one hours, and fifty minutes. Is that twenty-ninth solar day enjoying the sky void of that month, or has it passed? If it is the former, then one month has only twenty-nine and a half solar days plus a little more, and even if the twelve months of a year and the additional eleven days are added together, it will not reach three hundred and sixty solar days. Therefore, a year will not have three hundred and sixty-five solar days, and the daily cycle of the sun will not be complete. The first statement cannot be accepted, because in the commentary it says: 'At the end of the year, there are five solar days remaining.' The second statement cannot be accepted, because it contradicts the meaning of the quote from the root text: 'Having made the days, hours, and minutes into breaths, then divide them into three again.' If it is the latter, then the solar day that appears on the chart has already passed. The twenty-ninth solar day of the sky void has already passed. The second case is that the solar day that appears on the date calculation chart has already passed, because the stars of the moon and sun have passed. Because it is the same as the previous reasoning, and after the constant enjoyment of one month, there are twenty-nine solar days following. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
