At Zashi Gonkhang (Auspicious Gate Hall), and especially in the presence of the protector Lhamo sisters (Śrīdevī sisters), the personal deity of the great accomplished Indian master, offerings were made, and the Dharma was solemnly entrusted to the protectors until the teachings endure, to protect the Sakya school and its lineage. 7-1169 The assembled crowds there were also immersed in the joy and satisfaction of seeing their respective wishes fulfilled. Then, he turned his horse and went to Kyito (place name). The domestic officials offered abundant hospitality. Gradually, as he approached the great monastery, with an extremely solemn and grand welcoming procession, he arrived at the glorious Sakya Great Monastery, his body like a stone radiating light. Regarding these events, there are these verses: ‘Second Victorious One’ Sakya Paṇḍita (Sakya Paṇḍita, meaning the great scholar of Sakya Monastery): The wisdom of the crown abhiṣeka (abhiṣeka, consecration) is like a jeweled crown, The fame of vast learning spreads in all directions, Virtuous deeds rain down fulfilling the wishes of beings. Constantly avoiding all non-virtuous actions, For the sake of showing what to adopt and abandon to the many who indulge in careless enjoyment, Even the faultless Victorious One, Showed the appearance of playing with illness, which is indeed true. To generate renunciation and the mind of renunciation, he said: ‘This burden of suffering is from the parents of previous lives, The result of the union and enjoyment, The ripening of karma is definitely a remaining retribution.’ This saying is from the great Śrāvaka Maudgalyāyana (Maudgalyāyana, one of the Buddha's ten great disciples), The chief of the bamboo grove retinue, Who had unwavering faith in his own births. 7-1170 How can those with wisdom not generate faith? At that time, from the city of the Ḍākinīs' (Ḍākinīs, female embodiment of enlightened energy) joy, The supreme mother of all Tathāgatas (Tathāgatas, 'the one who has thus come' or 'the one who has thus gone,' an epithet of the Buddha), the power of the supreme Ḍākinī, As soon as she showed her smiling face, He became the great bliss hero inseparable from her. With his well-done nectar ocean, From the perfect combination of churning, The abode of gods, gurus, and Dharma protectors, This union of sun and moon appears. All of these are emanations of Samantabhadra (Samantabhadra, representing the principle and practice of all Buddhas), In the midst of the cloud of offerings, is the chief of the teachings of Jambudvīpa (Jambudvīpa, the continent where humans live in Buddhist cosmology). The objects of refuge of the Victorious One (Victorious One, epithet of Shakyamuni Buddha) and the Three Jewels, Countless blessings blaze and reside. Beside it is the charnel ground (charnel ground, a cemetery where Buddhists meditate) palace of play, In the center is the glorious Dharma protector Damchen (Damchen, oath-bound protector) ocean of assembly, With many retinue and messengers, wrathfully gathering, The garment of the ocean of activities pervades this world. Then, in the Wood Sheep year called 'Intoxicating,' when Rinpoche (Rinpoche, Tibetan for 'precious one,' usually referring to a high-ranking lama) was fifty-nine years old, earlier his father Drakpa Gyaltsen (Holder of the Name) had ordered --------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Likewise, in the lower great hall of Lhakhang of Lithang, the master with the name Drakpa (Grags pa) who holds mantras, and the four amazing Cham statues of Gur Lcam Dral (Gur Lcam Dral) built by Jetsun Lama (rJe btsun bla ma) himself, were invited from the west of Gonkhang and seated. On the upper and lower parts of the northwest wall, Salo Chenpo (Sa lo chen po) newly built many images of Lama (bla ma), Yidam (yi dam), and Dharma protectors (chos skyong) such as the Lamdre lineage (Lam 'bras), along with countless kinds of offerings. In order to fully accomplish the profound intention of Yabje Drakpa (Yabje Grags pa), in the winter of that year, many masters, Khenpos, and monks from Mus (Mus) and its opposing side, including Bagdro Rinpoche (Bagdro Rinpoche) from the north and Jowo Sangye Rabten (Jowo Sangye Rabten), the son of Dharma of Gyalwa Muschenpo (Gyalwa Mus Chenpo), and many fortunate ones including the monastic communities of various monasteries, were granted the unique blessing of the Chakrasamvara (rDo rje rnal 'byor ma) Dharma cycle, which directly demonstrates the true nature of Dharma, and many empowerments, transmissions, and subsequent permissions of Hevajra (bDe kye), Secret Three (gSang gsum), and most of the unsurpassed yogas. Then, when the glorious face of spring newly appeared, the current Ngor Khenpo Sonam Gyatso (Bsod nams rgya mtsho ba), who was then serving as a junior lecturer at Pel Ewam Choden (dPal E-wam chos ldan), arrived to meet and request many profound teachings. In response, he extensively turned the wheel of Dharma, such as the explanation of the three tantras of Yuganaddha Hevajra (Zung 'jug dges pa rdo rje) for about three hundred fortunate Sanghas from both monastic and lay communities. Initially, Je himself had listened to the explanation and transmission of the root tantra and its excellent commentary from Jamyang Kunkyen (Jam dbyangs kun khyen). From Je Nak Gonpa Chenpo (rJe nags dgon pa chen po), he received the root tantra, its commentary Dakden (dag ldan), and its explanation Dakden (dag ldan) with easy understanding. From Khenchen Thamsed Khyenpa Ngawang Chodrak (Ngag dbang chos grags), he listened to the commentaries of each of the three tantras, and then gave the transmission of the famous 'Lineage Supplication All-Encompassing' composed by Jetsun Konchok Lhundrup (dKon mchog lhun grub), which included the completion of the three sets of lineage supplications. The teachers and students all prayed with melodious and majestic voices. Ewampa (E-wam pa) said that since Salo Chenpo (Sa lo chen po) composed the Vajrakila lineage supplication 'Glorious Steadfast and Unmoving' (dPal ldan brtan g.yo ma), this lineage supplication was composed by modeling after that, so it is very good. He gave unparalleled appreciation. Then, for such a lineage, there are two types: near lineage and far lineage. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
