I had hoped to be able to attend these recitations and lama memorial ceremonies, but my age and physical condition are not allowing it. Now, this is all I can do for the Dharma, and I don't have much regret. Because I have had a pure view of the Dharma since I was young, the lamas have cared for me as if I were their own eyes. I myself have also followed their teachings and have tried my best to maintain, promote, and spread the precious Dharma, and so far it has brought many benefits to sentient beings. All the Dharma that I have received, I can teach without reservation according to the capacity and wishes of each disciple. In particular, I have been able to propagate these rare Dharma lineages many times. The lineage of the great Vidyadhara has also only been passed down by me, which is very fortunate and gratifying. Sometimes, although I am not seriously ill, it is better for this body that cannot do Dharma work to leave sooner. They always say this and express their wish to go to other pure lands. At that time, because Ewam Monastery was unparalleled in its maintenance, promotion, and propagation, and Chenrezig's (Avalokiteśvara) gaze was as vast as the sky, Khen Rinpoche Sonam Gyatso, who was the holder of the Dharma seat of Dorje Chang Kunga Zangpo, who had received the Gyalwa's (Victorious One) prophecy, I went to his presence to offer the first offerings. As soon as I arrived, he greeted me happily and bestowed blessings, etc. It was a good opportunity that you were able to come here this time. When Ngor Monastery was in a critical situation, I have always tried my best to help it, and it has provided great help in the past. Now, the Dharma seat established by my friend Gyalwa (Victorious One) should not be left vacant for a long time, so it is very good that the Khenpo (Abbot) is in place immediately. Dorje Chang (Vajradhara) and his sons said, 'From Jetsun (Venerable One) to all the root lamas of the lineage, their minds have been perfected in the Dharmadhatu, and we are all very fortunate. Now we must take good care of the Dharma.' He also gave many teachings of the Buddhas of the three times and generous gifts. At that time, he also always expressed his wish to go to other pure lands. On another occasion, from the Great Temple (Lhakhang Chenmo) to the Lingtsang monastic community, as well as officials from various departments, many people came to request me to live long. They offered all the seats at once and asked what these were. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------

He said, 'The monks of the monastery manage their own properties, doing double or triple harvesting, and only make prayers for sustenance.' I asked, 'Are those their seats?' He said, 'These monks, whether in the past or now, only think of themselves. It is just as important now. Although it is of little benefit to me, for them, it is the blessing of the Lama.' Then, he straightened his body, widened his eyes, and said, 'May all the Lamas, teachers and disciples, go to the pure land.' He repeated these words many times. Furthermore, at such times, apart from physical weakness, there were no signs of illness, and most of the time he was focused on profound meditation. Sometimes, he would reveal some unclear experiences of many special visions, especially one evening, when those around him said, 'It is now dusk, it is time to return to the chambers.' He said, 'You also stay here and relax a bit.' Then, he said twice in succession, 'After I pass away, there will be a rain of flowers. There will be a rain of flowers.' He looked up at the sky, seeming to see a special vision. Although I realized that something special had happened, I did not dare to ask any questions due to my timidity. Afterwards, he returned to his chambers as usual to rest, wash, etc. Except for an occasional day, he hardly missed any meals, and his mind was always clear. Around October, due to the sudden departure of the local leader Norbu to Shigatse, various conflicts arose among the people of Tsang-U, and he was very concerned about the welfare of sentient beings. Therefore, he presented horses as gifts to Khen Rinpoche and his disciples as instructions for the covenant. From the eleventh month of the Tibetan calendar, his body gradually weakened, and there was no other way. The steward reported to him whether a grand Dharma assembly could be held. He said, 'This is all the accumulation and purification of us teachers and disciples, so it is certainly good to do so. In addition, offer my sanggyé (monk's skirt) and clean chha ru (a type of cloth) to the images of the Lamas.' He instructed to do so. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
