A great joy arose in his heart, and he said, 'It seems that the affairs of this life and the next for us, teacher and disciple, will be accomplished without hindrance.' After a few days had passed, Before the sacred objects of the Potala Palace, especially the Phagpa Wati (Sacred Avalokiteśvara statue) of Kyirong, Jowo Lokeshvara (Supreme Avalokiteśvara), and other wondrous sacred objects that are sure to fulfill whatever prayers are made, he offered countless gold ornaments and offerings, and made extensive aspirations with the seven-branch offering as a preliminary. This holy being, with his extraordinary aspiration, composed a prayer called 'May All Aspirations Be Fulfilled,' with the intention of benefiting sentient beings and promoting the general and specific flourishing of the teachings. In front of the Jowo statue in Lhasa and the sacred objects of the Potala Palace, his attendants recited a hundred million prayers, and by donating wealth to others, he established a tradition of prayer, accomplishing about five hundred million recitations. From that time on, the omniscient Gyalwang (Victorious One, referring to the Dalai Lama) and this holy guide engaged in continuous discussions for seven days, each day questioning and answering on all aspects of the teachings of sutra, tantra, and various sciences, like the Khenpo (Śāntarakṣita) and Lopon (Padmasambhava) of old. The two supreme guides of the three realms each increased their faith and devotion, and their minds became like one. Thus, during his stay in Lhasa for about fifteen days, Dakchen Rinpoche (Great Holder Rinpoche) Jampel Dorje (Mañjuśrī), the Tulku Rinpoche (Reincarnate Rinpoche) of Daklha Gampo, Yongzin Rinpoche (Tutor Rinpoche)'s reincarnation, the Tulku Rinpoche of Dorje Drak Monastery, and many other reincarnations of the Drukpa Kagyu and Nyingma schools, as well as Choying Wangpo (Dharma Lord) from Nalanda Monastery, the Khenpo (Abbot) of Drakthang, the Khenpo of Namgyal Serkhang and Kyetsal Lama (Garden Lama), Sakya Rabjampa (Sakya Scholar), and many other lamas and abbots from numerous monasteries, as well as Depa Kunshonpa (Young Lord) Kunche from Nakartse, and many other monastics and laypeople came to visit and receive teachings. Jetrung (The Revered One) also bestowed empowerments, transmissions, instructions, and blessings according to each individual's capacity, so that each gained unwavering faith, and offered countless gifts. At that time, coinciding with the Lhasa Great Prayer Festival, he offered tea to the assembly and took care of various matters, both large and small. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
