Just as the sky is clear of clouds, may it be pacified in the unborn realm of Dharma! From the ocean of your great joy, may the waves of the four activities surge forth! May the feast of accomplishments, like wish-fulfilling jewels, be fulfilled, and may the supreme practice be perfectly accomplished! Hey! Yaṃśud (Tibetan: ཡཾ་ཤུད་, Sanskrit Devanagari: यंशुद्, Sanskrit Romanization: yaṃśud, Literal meaning: Yaṃśud) Red Deity and retinue! Without transgressing the command of the root and lineage lamas, protect the precious teachings of Sutra and Tantra, Especially the teachings of the Sakya Jetsun, may they flourish like the summer ocean without decline! May the noble individuals who uphold these teachings have stable feet, may the Sangha community flourish in study and practice, May disharmony and decline in the world be pacified, and may the splendor of all desires be perfectly fulfilled! You wear red copper armor and a dripping sheepskin. A leopard skin skirt from Saga Mountain adorns your feet, and you wear incomparable terrifying ornaments. Your right hand raises a burning copper sword in the sky, and your left hand grasps the heart and liver of enemies and demons. You carry a banner, arrows, and a bow under your arm, you are the oath-bound lord of Dharma protectors! With wrathful and fierce feet, one bent and one extended, you ride a red horse, trampling the corpse of an oath-breaker. You abide in a majestic posture, you are a powerful being! To the left of your mount, O Venerable One, a fierce bear woman sits on an incomparable throne. She is a worldly goddess with a red face and a terrifying form, a rakshasi with an angry demeanor! Her face is red and smooth like a viper, she bares sharp white fangs, and her eyebrows are like jade. Her tongue dances, her three eyes flash like lightning, you are the great worldly mother! Adorned with fiery hair and pearl ornaments, she wears a skull crown and a necklace of wet skulls. She wears a flowing black silk robe, you are the red-faced rakshasi!
