I beseech the glorious and venerable root and lineage Lamas to not stray from their commands and vows, to firmly uphold and receive these great Dharanis, to protect the Buddha's teachings, to exalt the Three Jewels, to support the Sangha, to prolong the lives of the Lamas, and to cause great virtue to arise in the world. In particular, may the Sakya lineage and its teachings flourish like a summer ocean without decline, and may you protect us, the teachers, students, patrons, and retinues, so that our lives are as long as a river, our life force as strong as a vajra, our wealth as abundant as Vaishravana, and all our wishes are fulfilled in accordance with Dharma. May you control the kings, countries, cities, and all beings. May you swiftly subdue all hateful enemies and harmful obstacles, and guide the consciousness of all beings into the realm of Dharma. May your power not diminish, may your abilities not weaken, and may you swiftly grant all worldly and transcendental accomplishments.' Recite this three times, and at the end of each recitation, play loud musical instruments, burn incense, and sprinkle golden beverages. Recite the life-force mantra of Lhamo and her retinue. Then, with or without music: 'Hum! This great red yak, as dense as clouds, with beautiful fur, horns, and a tail that sways, adorned with many red and black silk head ornaments, I offer to the Yaksha Lhamo and her retinue.' 'This friendly black female yak, with beautiful fur, a gray mouth, and a white spine, adorned with red and black silk head ornaments, I offer to the Yaksha Lhamo and her retinue.' 'This red ram with horns, with iron hooves, with beautiful fur and a loud bleating sound, adorned with red and black silk head ornaments, I offer to the Yaksha Lhamo and her retinue.' Always facing the victory banner, Yaksha siblings and their retinue, and the Zaga that gathers the essence of a thousand intoxicants, and the warm heart's blood of slaying enemies, grand smoke offerings and the sounds of various musical instruments, Yaksha siblings, with all these harmonious samaya substances, may your samaya heart be fulfilled, may the Sakya siddha's teachings flourish, may the descendants of the immaculate Khon lineage appear, may the Gongma's tradition of practice and study be promoted, may we, the master, disciples, patrons, and retinue, eliminate all obstacles and accomplish all favorable conditions, pacify all the hindrances of the black demons, and enjoy the glory of auspiciousness and wish fulfillment! Furthermore, recite three times from 'Hum! Supreme deity, great GING, red Yangshud' to 'Grant swiftly without remainder.' Mantra, music, incense, and golden libation, proceed as before. The master holds the protector's Torma and places it on the crown of the deity, or visualizes doing so. The blessings of all the Buddhas of the three times, the power of body, speech, and mind, the source of accomplishing the two benefits, the great empowerment of the Torma. Having obtained the empowerment of body, speech, and mind, may you subdue all beings of the three realms. Om Rakmo Prana Atma Saparivara Balimta Abhishinca Hum! Recite the life mantra of the siblings, accompanied by fierce musical instruments, and bless the blood wine with the mantra for empowerment. Again, strike the instruments, Hum! Arising from pure causes and conditions, adorned with various jewels, the empowerment of body, speech, and mind, this external offering, we offer. May the Yaksha siblings and their retinue, appear before our eyes and be pleased, may the obstacles to the Victorious One's teachings and the holders of the teachings, of body, speech, and mind, be eliminated, may all goodness increase like the waxing moon, may the perfection of all sentient beings and the world, be accomplished effortlessly and spontaneously, may all the things we desire in our hearts, be accomplished as we wish! Then shower flowers upon the deities, with or without music, Auspicious one, the ornament on the crown of the supreme deity, shining like a jewel, by offering to whom one bestows supreme accomplishment, the incomparable root and lineage gurus, may there be auspiciousness!
