This red torma, endowed with a hundred tastes, is offered and dedicated to: the command of Yama, the instruction of Mahādeva, the war god of India, the guardian of Marutse, the protector of Li country, the lord of the desire realm māmas, the general of a thousand red tsans, the leader of the Yamas, the master of the yakshas, the suppressor of demons and rakshasas, the slayer of enemies and obstacles, the cutter of those who break their vows, the taker of the breath of oath-takers, the messenger of yogis, the life-force of vidyādharas, the watchman of the Buddha's teachings, the arbiter of good and bad, the discriminator of truth and falsehood, the acceptor and rejector of virtue and vice, the father is the yaksha with copper-colored hair, the mother is the sister with blood-colored hair, the son is the great yaksha with a copper-colored club, the sister is the red-faced worldly goddess, the worker is the red executioner life-taker, the eight liberating gyings, the twenty-one flesh-eating ones, the thousand red tsans, the three thousand demons, yakshas, and rakshasas, the hundred thousand māmas, the thousand theurang, and all the hosts of gods and demons of existence, together with their retinues, I offer this to you, please accept it and protect the Buddha's teachings, exalt the Three Jewels, maintain the Dharma wheel of the Sangha, be the guardian of the monastery, accompany the yogi me like a shadow, from now until enlightenment, pacify all obstacles to the attainment of enlightenment, diseases of body and mind, and suffering, increase favorable conditions, life, merit, power, and wealth, bring people, wealth, and food under control, and may all activities of hearing, thinking, and meditating arise effortlessly and spontaneously.
