In the center of the stacked lotuses of saṃsāra (Tibetan: ྐོར་བའི་, meaning: cycle of existence), from 'paṃ' (Tibetan, Devanagari: paṃ, Romanized Sanskrit: paṃ, Literal Chinese meaning: seed syllable of lotus) arises an eight-petaled red lotus, and in the center of the lotus, from 'a' (Tibetan, Devanagari: a, Romanized Sanskrit: a, Literal Chinese meaning: seed syllable of emptiness) arises a lunar disc, and in the center of that is the green letter 'ṇi' (Tibetan, Devanagari: ṇi, Romanized Sanskrit: ṇi, Literal Chinese meaning: seed syllable of Ratnasambhava). In its center, from 'ca' (Tibetan, Devanagari: ca, Romanized Sanskrit: ca, Literal Chinese meaning: seed syllable of wrathful deities) arises a white lion, upon which is a sun and moon cushion, adorned with various jewels, and upon it is the red letter 'vai' (Tibetan, Devanagari: vai, Romanized Sanskrit: vai, Literal Chinese meaning: seed syllable of Vaishravana), radiating light. The light offers to the noble ones, pacifies all the suffering of poverty of all sentient beings, destroys all enemies and obstacles, and gathers all the glory and abundance of the world. The red letter 'vai' (Tibetan, Devanagari: vai, Romanized Sanskrit: vai, Literal Chinese meaning: seed syllable of Vaishravana) dissolves into it, transforming into light, from which appears the great king Namtösé (Tibetan: རྣམ་ཐོས་སྲས, meaning: Vaishravana), whose body color is as red as a mountain of ruby. He has one face and two arms, majestic and full of vigor. He wears red armor marked with vajras, and a helmet with a red silk turban. His face is smiling and wrathful, his eyes are blood-red and round, flickering and agitated. His right hand holds a red spear and a victory banner, and his left hand holds a mongoose and an iron hook. He is adorned with red silk garments and various jewels, possessing an elegant and heroic demeanor. He has a youthful appearance that is both wrathful and alluring. From his body and implements, red, hook-like rays of light radiate, capable of subduing all beings in the three realms. To his left is a craftsman holding a red spear, wearing a helmet and armor, his right hand holding a spear, and his left hand holding a white crystal stupa, complete with all characteristics. From the seed syllable in his heart, red, hook-like rays of light radiate, at the tip of which appear countless red, hook- and lasso-wielding kings of desire, inviting the great king Namtösé (Tibetan: རྣམ་ཐོས་སྲས, meaning: Vaishravana), the terrifying spear-holder and his retinue, from the willow forest north of Mount Meru, and arousing their vows. To his east is yellow Jambhala (Tibetan: ཛམྦྷ་ལ, meaning: wealth deity) holding a jewel; to the south is a yellow auspicious vase; to the west is white Norzang (Tibetan: ནོར་བཟང, meaning: Sudhana) holding a wish-fulfilling gem; to the north is black Kubera (Tibetan: ཀུ་བཻ་ར, meaning: Kubera) holding a sword; to the southeast is yellow Yangdakshé (Tibetan: ཡང་དག་ཤེས, meaning: Correct Knowledge) holding a golden knife; to the southwest is black Drokné (Tibetan: འབྲོག་གནས, meaning: Hermit) holding a red spear; to the northwest is a yellowish five-storied building; to the northeast is white Kundali (Tibetan: ཀུནྜ་ལི, meaning: Kundali) holding a knife sheath. Except for Drokné (Tibetan: འབྲོག་གནས, meaning: Hermit), all the deities hold their respective implements and a red spear in their right hands, and a mongoose and an iron hook in their left hands. All of them radiate red light, wear armor, and wear red silk turbans. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------

The headdress is adorned with precious jewels, riding a horse that matches its own color. Surrounding it are the eight great Naga kings, with yellow bodies, possessing seven snake heads, and snake tails coiled to the right. All of them hold their palms together, holding wish-fulfilling jewels between their hands, thinking to fulfill the wishes of the practitioner. To the east of it is Vasudhara (Goddess of Wealth), to the south is Sarasvati (Goddess of Music and Wisdom), to the west is the Protector of Wealth, and to the north are all the gods. All of these deities are red in color, with one face and two arms, holding an iron hook in the right hand and a fan in the left hand, and are visualized as peaceful or wrathful, adorned with bone ornaments. To the northeast is Jambhala (God of Wealth), the King of Desire holding a red sandalwood spear in his hand. To the southwest is Rahula, holding a bow and arrow and a makara (sea monster) banner. To the northwest is the Subduer of Demons, Kubera, holding a sandalwood spear and a banner. To the northeast is the black Kala, holding a burning club. To his left are the arrogant Trena holding a banner, Bumsna holding a sandalwood spear, Snachyara holding a victory banner, and Snachen holding a red spear. All of these protectors are red-black in color, extremely wrathful, and adorned with unsightly ornaments. In addition, there are the twenty-eight commanders, slightly wrathful, holding a sword and shield in their two hands. The thirty-two powerful ones are green-blue in color, extremely wrathful, holding a spear and sword in their two hands. The eight classes of gods and demons (devas, nagas, yakshas, etc.) and the assembly of billions of yakshas are of various unsightly colors, holding various weapons and mongooses in their hands, visualized as dense clouds. Then, from the heart of oneself visualized as the yidam deity, countless red rays of light emanate, with the King of Desire holding a red iron hook at the end of the light, inviting the Great King of the North and his retinue. Burn incense, make the iron hook mudra, or hold the vajra and bell, with or without chanting: Hum! In the northern willow grove of Mount Meru (Tibetan: རི་རྒྱལ།), from the palace adorned with jewels, with lions, jade dragons, excellent horses, and the earth of precious sun and moon, majestic and powerful Vaisravana (Tibetan: རྣམ་ཐོས་སྲས།, Sanskrit Devanagari: वैश्रवण, Sanskrit Romanization: Vaiśravaṇa, Chinese literal meaning: Son of Much Hearing), together with the gods, nagas, yakshas, and treasure deities, the lord of wealth of the three thousand worlds, the possessor of food, wealth, and jewels of the three realms, please come here, Great King, with your retinue, by the power of faith and samaya (vow). The Great King who comes here is the protector of the teachings of all the Buddhas of the past, present, and future, with hundreds of thousands of retinues of gods, nagas, and yakshas, the lord of the three realms. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
