From this time forth, until I reach the essence of enlightenment, I prostrate to and take refuge in the feet of the venerable Sakya (Sa-skya-pa) lineage, fathers and sons, together with their retinue. I pray to be taken care of in all births and lifetimes. I pray that the venerable and holy ones, together with their retinue who possess the qualities of power, bless me, the lowest of their descendants. May all roots of virtue, arising from and born of non-hatred, non-jealousy, and non-ignorance, in this life of mine and in the past, future, and present times, be blessed. Especially, through the power and ability to build this wondrous and vast ocean of glory, the arrangement of the venerable Manjushri's ('Jam-pa'i-dbyangs) lineage, may the source of benefit and happiness, the precious general Buddhist teachings and the specific infallible Sakya teachings, flourish and remain long in this world with gods and humans. May the feet of all upholders of the teachings in general, and in particular my kind root gurus, the great Vajradharas (rDo-rje-'chang), remain firm for kalpas. May the great monastic colleges, Thubten Lhachen Sang-ngag Dechen Ling (Thub-bstan Lha-chen gsang-sngags bDe-chen gling), Ewam Monastery (E-wam), Chos-ldan Monastery (Chos-ldan), Gongkar Dorje Dhen (Gong-kar rDo-rje-gdan), Trashichosde Monastery (bKra-shis Chos-sde), and all the sanghas that uphold the pure tradition of the former ones, flourish and remain long in the precious teachings of explanation and practice. May the glory of well-being, complete and perfect, increase and expand like the waxing moon in all realms of the world, represented by this region. In particular, may all accumulations of sins, obscurations, faults, and stains, such as violations of the Hearer's precepts, violations of the Bodhisattva vows, and broken samayas of Secret Mantra, from beginningless samsara until now, be purified. May all adverse conditions, obstacles, and unfavorable circumstances to the practice of the holy Dharma be pacified. May all good things, such as life, merit, glory, wealth, retinue, enjoyment, power, dominion, qualities of realization, and so forth, increase and expand, and may the supreme siddhi of Mahamudra (Phyag-rya chen-po) be easily accomplished in this life. In short, may all purposes of this and future lives be effortlessly and spontaneously accomplished, and may the venerable Sakya fathers and sons lineage, together with their retinue, bless me. May the auspicious, independent one, the glorious banner, the auspicious increase, bring benefit and happiness, and may the doctrine and jewels increase tenfold. May the power of the white virtues arising from generosity, discipline, and meditation, dispel the darkness of karma, afflictions, and suffering, and may the lotus of the two accumulations blossom.
