If there is, take the patient and the child to that place (referring to the place where ghosts gather). If that is not accomplished, summon that harmful ghost and give it the patient, visualizing it devouring them. By doing this, the child and the patient will have no greater enemy than the ghost, and by pleasing it, the patient's karmic debts and obligations will be repaid. The ghost will also believe and be completely convinced, and it will not harm others, but will also protect them from harm. This is the key to transforming adversity into the path. For example, if a poisonous plant is refined into an essence, it can pacify all epidemics, malignant diseases, and the harm of the nagas, and later all poisonous diseases will not be able to harm you. Furthermore, as it says in the Tsog: "Disease, the patient, and the ghost, abide in the state of non-duality and emptiness. Cut up the body and offer it to the Tsog. Bury the conceptual thoughts in the treasure of Dharmata. Do this many times. If healed, do not generate a joyful mind." It is said. By abandoning the corpse as food, one is separated from the mind of cherishing. By separating body and mind, one loses the master of self-grasping. By cutting the root of the fearful one, fear vanishes on its own. By abandoning the clinging to the body, obstacles arise as glory. This means going to that dangerous place, lying down comfortably, and abandoning the corpse as food, which means abandoning the body, aggregates, and elements that are clung to as self to the demons as food. Throw it there, let them do whatever they want, separate from the mind of cherishing, and then leave. Separate the body and mind, give the body away as alms, and if attached, settle the mind in emptiness, so that you can lose the master of self-grasping and cherishing. For example, in the corpse in the cemetery, because the body and mind are separated, self-grasping does not arise. Cutting the root of the fearful one, fear naturally disappears, which means that when there is fear, from the crown of the head to the soles of the feet, see where the fear exists, is it in the flesh? Is it in the bone? Is it in the blood? Is it external? Is it internal? See what shape it is, is it square, long, round, triangular, cylindrical, like a blade, etc. See what color it is, is it white, black, yellow, red, green, or maroon, etc. If the body is afraid, because it has already been given away, it is gone. If the mind is afraid, the mind is originally empty. What is there to fear now? What is there to fear? Think like this. When you search like this and cannot find it, all fear and anxiety will naturally be liberated. Like this

All adversities, obstacles, illnesses, and sufferings are caused by the presence of self-grasping. Without self-grasping, one is no different from earth and stones, and there is nothing to fear. Furthermore, in the Compendium it says: The body should be placed like a corpse, placed as if without an owner, sometimes like a dry human head, the five sense faculties left to run wild. Understanding this way, demons will appear as auspicious, and obstacles will turn into accomplishments. By relentlessly pursuing adverse conditions, obstacles will be pacified into emptiness. By slapping the face of spirits, one will realize that the realm of fear is empty. Knowing everything as mind, non-grasping is liberated in its own place. If you abandon and let go at will, no one can take it away. That is to say, no matter what adverse conditions and obstacles arise, these four key points should be done: relentlessly pursuing adverse conditions, slapping the face of spirits, knowing everything as mind, and abandoning at will. These four points should be put into practice. Relentlessly pursuing adverse conditions means sleeping where you are afraid, and when you are afraid, such as at night, staying near what you are afraid of, such as a wall, a corpse, or straw. Slapping the face of spirits means that if a visible form appears in reality or in hallucinations or dreams, grab it with your hand, hold it tightly in your palm, and request, "Be my companion and stay here forever," and do not let go. If it appears in a hallucination, clarify it and make it even clearer. If it appears in a dream, say, "Go back to sleep and please come again." If it calls out, say, "Ah, I am here, come here." Meditating on everything as mind, even if you give your body to a ghost, whether you meditate on guarding it, whether you meditate on its existence, or whether you meditate on its non-existence, even if fear and horror arise, even if joy and warmth arise, even if fear and panic arise, even if peace of mind and fearlessness arise, whatever arises is a manifestation of the mind, a picture of the mind, the rise and fall of thoughts, the fluctuation of awareness, and a mere fabrication. In reality, there is not even a hair's breadth of true establishment. Abandoning and letting go at will means abandoning and letting go of the body without guarding and grasping, without cherishing and pitying, without attachment and clinging. If you do this, no one can take it away, and no one will want it. For example, a bee eating food does not eat large amounts, and does not take what is not given, just like not wanting it.
