It is the complete enjoyment body. In the post-meditation period, knowing that actions are unceasing in the state of non-reality, but that what is done is not accomplished, is the cause for the arising of the emanation body. Without distraction, guarding this cause and perfecting the habituation, at the time of fruition, all kinds of emanation bodies arise, and these are the Buddhas of essential meaning. It has always been like this, but we have not known how to establish it as such, so we take and reject. Therefore, although Buddhas and sentient beings appear as two, their essence is one, a magical display of the mind itself. For example, a finger is one in essence, but when extended it is a palm, and when contracted it is called a fist. When this is determined by words, the spoken sound is called Buddha. Going wherever it is necessary to tame whatever needs taming, and doing what is appropriate, that is the symbolic Buddha. These are also not real Buddhas, but merely representations of form that arise in the field of faith, based on aspiration and compassion. For example, when looking in a mirror, one's own face appears in the mirror, which is not the real face, but merely a form that resembles the face. Likewise, these things that can appear in the field of disciples' minds are not real Buddhas like the face in a mirror, but merely forms of the Buddha. And what is like the real face is the non-dual Dharmakaya, this uncorrected and inseparable mind of one's own is the real Buddha. The Diamond Sutra says: 'Those who see me in form, and those who seek me in sound, those people have entered a false path, and cannot see the Tathagata.' The Buddhas are the Dharmakaya, the guides are unconditioned. The Eight Thousand Verse Prajnaparamita Sutra says: 'Sons of good family, the Tathagatas should be regarded as the Dharmakaya, and should not be regarded as the Rupakaya.' And the Hundred Thousand Verse Prajnaparamita Sutra says: 'The so-called Buddha is without any object of focus.' Therefore, practicing the Dharma abandons samsara, but if one realizes it, one can also abandon the Dharma. When mind and Dharma are exhausted, like throwing away filth, one becomes a Buddha. For example, all diseases are abandoned by medicine, but if the medicine is not digested, it becomes a difficult disease. But when the power of the disease subsides, the power of the medicine also subsides. When the disease is cured, it is desired that both disease and medicine are gone. In general,

Enlightenment requires Dharma, because the Buddha, in his mouth, detached from the mind of clinging to Dharma, realized non-Dharma (absence of Dharma) and became enlightened. It is like when wood is exhausted and fire dies out. Therefore, one should train the mind in post-meditation wisdom that is like illusion. When determining the nature of Dharma, the harm of conceptual thoughts is great. In the realm of knowable objects, various kinds of memories and conceptual thoughts arise. This is a sign that arises after practicing as before: various kinds of conceptual thoughts will arise in one's own continuum, various kinds of afflictions will arise, one will feel fear and displeasure, awareness will be scattered, the mind will be agitated, one will be indecisive, the mind will be distorted, one will feel nauseous, afraid, ashamed, crave wandering, be angry, suffer, have many thoughts, various kinds of sudden conceptual thoughts, the mind will sometimes be happy and sometimes unhappy, and various kinds of highs and lows will arise. This is the time when antidotes and conceptual thoughts are fighting, so various kinds of happiness and suffering will arise. For example, on the battlefield, both the enemy and ourselves will be injured. The Sutra says: Precious Dharma is also rare, and it is often harmed. It is like giving medicine to a patient, and as a result, the medicine and the disease flare up together. If one does not have the army of realization, one will lose the experience of practice. If one is interrupted by external circumstances, it is like treading with the feet but not harmonizing the taste, it will backfire. This is because one has not determined the root with realization, one has not attained enlightenment through practice, one has not harmonized the taste through action, but instead, it backfires. This is because the power of realization is weak, the grasp of experience is insufficient, and the diligence of action is not enough, so it will become a cause for regression. This is because the antidote is weak, one has not chased after the object alone, and one has not pursued external circumstances relentlessly, so one accepts (regression). Also, in the Compendium Sutra, it says: If you do not understand external circumstances as help, even if your view is high, you will go astray. If you have not comprehended the key instructions, if you have not transformed understanding into certainty, do not hastily draw conclusions just by hearing words. Think like this, son of a noble family! And so on. The moving tree is cut down by the sword of view, meditation, and action, and all the branches of conceptual thoughts arising from the mind naturally cease. This is to counteract wrong views, and there are three types of counteracting wrong views: counteracting wrong views in terms of view, counteracting wrong views in terms of meditation, and counteracting wrong views in terms of action. Counteracting wrong views in terms of view is: initially, it is just the master pointing it out, turning what is not understood into understanding, turning what is not known into knowing, and turning what is not realized into realization. Again,
