She was named Metok Dron Her father named her Kyigye (སྐྱིད་དགེ།). When she was seven or eight years old, she was sent to the scholar Gyaljung (རྒྱལ་འབྱུང་།) to learn to read and write. She learned as soon as she was introduced to it. When she read the Prajnaparamita, she understood the meaning as soon as she read it, but others could not remember it, so she lived like an ordinary person. Her parents made her herd sheep, so she collected many pebbles and used them to count and play. The villagers said, "Your daughter can't herd sheep. She plays with pebbles herself and lets the sheep run wild." Her father went to see her, and she was playing with pebbles. Her father said, "You are playing here, and the sheep are lost." She said, "They won't get lost. The dakinis will take care of them, and they will all come back." Her father asked, "What are these pebbles for?" She said, "They are used to record the scriptures." Her father asked, "Do you understand the Dharma?" She said, "Yes." Her father asked, "Is the Dharma you understand a false Dharma?" She said, "It is not a false Dharma. I understand that all the Buddha's teachings are united as one, and the three pitakas are united in my heart. The mind is like an illusion, and the illusion is separate from attachment." Her father asked, "Then where do you recognize these things from?" She said, "Look at the sky in the space, it is away from the three states of birth, dwelling, and cessation, and I recognize it there." Her father said, "That's amazing, you are a blessed person." She said, "I have accumulated a lot of sins, and I won't herd sheep anymore." So, both daughters were sent to the scholar Gyaljung (རྒྱལ་འབྱུང་།) of Lhungkarpo (ལྷུང་དཀར་པོ།) to be ordained. The younger daughter was named Dape Dronma (དད་པའི་སྒྲོན་མ།,Sanskrit待查,IAST待查,Lamp of Faith), and the older sister was named Dape Lhamo (དད་པའི་ལྷ་མོ།,Sanskrit待查,IAST待查,Goddess of Faith). She was able to recite the extensive, intermediate, and concise scriptures. Later, she went to see the Yae (གཡའི།) performance, and she was very beautiful and had a good figure. Everyone in the market said, "She is more beautiful than the goddess." So she was named Labyi Dronma In Tsang (གཙང་།), she studied Dzogchen and illusion, and was proficient in the commentary on the Five Treatises of Maitreya. She became proficient in the meaning of all the tantras. Later, on one occasion, when she was reciting scriptures for a patron, Geshe Topa Arey (དགེ་བཤེས་ཐོད་པ་འབའ་རེ།) was invited from Yerong (དབྱེ་རོང་།). He was a descendant of the eighteen generations of Geshe lineage. Topa Arey (ཐོད་པ་འབའ་རེ།) was invited to perform

After saying that, he also arranged the torma, and sat without reciting the ritual. The patron said, "Why don't you do the work?" He replied, "Tonight I am happy to know without attachment, I don't want to do it." He also made it clear to the male and female patrons, and it seemed that he was losing the memory of whether this was the reason why he didn't want to do anything. When asked, "Is it not allowed?" The Geshe said, "It is not forbidden. This offering place mother is one with qualities. Her blessings will bring auspiciousness." There, the Geshe saw Machig (Ma gcig) as a named person, and asked the parents for their daughter. The father said, "This is not an ordinary daughter, I will not give her, I will make her my own offering place." The mother said, "It is difficult for a woman to start practicing Dharma, so it is better to give her to this Geshe who has merit and lineage." So she gave her to the Geshe's wife. After that, the Geshe left his previous wife and went with Machig to Kongpo to find wealth. After five years, they found wealth including about twelve horses. A daughter was born in Kongpo and named Ga Cham (rGa lcam). One was born on the way and named Lam Cham (Lam lcam). Later, when she was living alone in Gangso, she gave birth to a son, and said, "He will be someone who realizes the essential meaning." So he was named Nyingpo Dondrup (snying po'i don grub). After that, it seemed that two more sons were born, I am two boats, three sons were born. After that, the family separated and practiced Dharma separately. Machig said, "Fathers and sons must all practice Dharma, worldly affairs have no meaning. I will also go to someone who is good at explaining the meaning of the Prajnaparamita." Gralmo Chokgar Gyen (gral mo chog dkar rgyan) said, "In Dratang Kyamo (gra thang skya mo), there is a Geshe named Geshe Drapa Ngonshe (dge bshes gra pa mngon shes), who is proficient in Prajnaparamita and does the three things of listening, speaking, and meditating." So she took a maid named Majo Yakmo (ma jo g.yag mo) who could read and write, and with twelve taels of gold, she ran away and met the Geshe who was explaining the Prajnaparamita, offered a gift and listened to the Dharma. Geshe Drapa said, "You listen to the Dharma, it would be great if you could be ordained." So she told all the reasons why she had entered the Dharma before, but for the sake of Buddhism, she entered the Dharma.
