Possessing immeasurable power. Accompanied by immeasurable things such as yidams and dakinis, possessing many empowerments and blessings, thus mastering common and supreme siddhis. The greatness of learning and merit lies in: having learned to read and write from the age of five, thus knowing very well. Mastering the external Vinaya Pitaka, and all the internal Tantric scriptures. He is a great scholar who is proficient in the five sciences. The greatness of the fruit of accomplishment lies in: having attained all common siddhis. The special realization of the supreme siddhi, Mahamudra, has become manifest. Such a lama, for the benefit of beings, came to Tibet many times. Once, when the master was returning from India to Tibet, a Geshe named Ngodrup Nyingpo, who was from Yorpodratang. It is said that he went to India and became a disciple of a translator, he was carrying a water-wood staff decorated with various animal figures. There was also a lama named Smaraserpochen, who did not trust the Tibetan Buddhists, went to India to seek teachings but did not find them, so he returned. He went to Nepal to see Lama Mahamula to request (to give) the pig's (initiation), and traveled with many merchants. They stayed in Nepal for about a month. After that, they returned to Tibet with Je Dampa Sangye. There, the two of them thought: This acharya seems to be an accomplished one, but we don't know if he is a heretic or a Buddhist, so we did not request teachings. After that, they arrived in Mangyul and found two acharya's shops. Everyone greatly respected that acharya, offering many flowers. They asked what the lama's name was, (others) replied: This person is called Lama Pandit Kamalashila in India, and Dampa Gyagarwa in Tibet. He is a great Pandit accomplished one. He has come to Tibet many times before, and it seems that he is going to Tibet this time as well. So they asked for a blessing, (the acharya) said to the Geshe: Throw away that staff, don't hold such things, it is the cause of losing bodhicitta. I also know, but I didn't do it. There is no need to deceive sentient beings, throw it away. When they asked for teachings, (the acharya said:) You should not take external appearances into the internal, and do not scatter the internal awareness outwards.

O! Let the mind not be attached to the body, and let the body be liberated from the mind. Having said these words. Therefore, he went to seek the Dharma with certainty but did not find it. Returning to Tibet, he thought that perhaps he could meet an accomplished master. So he followed in the footsteps of the master, thinking that he must receive some teachings. Therefore, he went to serve. Later, he arrived at a place called Labtakri and stayed in a guesthouse. Many people came to ask for blessings, some with half-blind eyes regained their sight, some deaf people heard sounds, and so on. Everyone felt it was amazing. In that place, a Geshe named Kyo Shakya Yeshe was invited as the Khenpo of the Sutra of Illusion, and was giving Dharma teachings. In the service of Myangto Gechen Drakchung, whose ancestors were powerful mantra practitioners, because they were afraid of contracting leprosy, there were two children. A father with leprosy offered a thirteen-section edition of the Hundred Thousand Verses and many possessions. The two children were entrusted to the care of the Geshe. Because the Geshe had great merit, he absentmindedly took the things, but did not take care of the two children, nor did he give them medicine. Although many signs of being possessed by demons appeared, the Geshe was very distressed. Hearing that a blessed Acharya was staying in the guesthouse, he went to ask him. He said: Generally speaking, you are the source of Indian wisdom, and especially I have heard that you, the Lama, are very blessed. I have two children who are being harassed by gods and demons, please have compassion and bless them. He said: It will be done. At that time, he said to the Yellow-Bearded Lama: Now the teachings you desire are coming. After making offerings and requesting teachings there, he gave teachings to the two children, the Yellow-Bearded Lama, and Geshe Kyo. He bestowed upon them the Prajnaparamita Sutra, the Six Sections of Illusion, and the oral instructions for introduction, and imparted the pith instructions there. The two children, through practice, both became good accomplished ones. Afterwards, the Yellow-Bearded Lama returned to his homeland, practiced this Chöd, and the incomplete Dakini Small Face, which he had requested from Haluma in Nepal, and diligently practiced. He did not give the teachings to others, but gave them to his own attendant, the madman Aré, at the time of his death. Kyo Shakya Yeshe, his own...
