There are two: the way to enter the path is to generate Bodhicitta, and the order of the actual path. First, just as the common vehicle speaks of aspiration and entry, here also it is said that entering the path is the Bodhicitta of the cause, and practicing after entering is the Bodhicitta of the result. As the Commentary on the Eye says: "The yogi who manifests nature, the difference between the nature and the cause, is determined by the species and the species. The first two forms change." So it is said. The first is that the Lama, as a preliminary to entering the mandala, generates the aspiration and entry of the common vehicle, and the empowerment becomes the uncommon Bodhicitta, which is the entry into the first path. The second is all the means of the respective paths and the special wisdom mind, as the former said: "The nature of the path is Bodhicitta, each with its own means and supreme wisdom." So it is said. The second has two parts: a general presentation of the order of the two paths, and a separate explanation of the nature of each path. The first has two parts: the path of liberation and the path of means. The first is the path entered by the first person or those who are free from attachment, namely, the deity and the non-conceptual meditation. The first is to realize that the basis of reality is inseparable, and then to meditate on the deity of the four approaches and accomplishments with the three complete preliminaries, main practice, and subsequent practice. There are also two types of people who meditate gradually and instantaneously. The second non-conceptual is also to abide in the nature of all phenomena, without the two objects of mind, like the sky, with the seven dharmas of the body. This also has the instantaneous abiding in self-luminosity and non-duality, and the abiding in gradual meditation, that is, there are two types: sudden and gradual. As it is said in the Lamrim: "What should be thought should not be thought, and what should not be thought should not be thought. What is not thought in any way is the equality of self-awareness." And the Lama said: "Gradually that nature becomes clear and connected, which is called the Great Perfection of the occasion." So it is said. The second path of means has two: wind and bindu. The separate practice is that the first relies on wind to make bindu yoga. Like the wick of a vein, the bindu is like water, and the wind is like a man who pulls it with effort. The four wheels of the body and their petals are spread all over like the base, and from this there are two meanings: temporary and ultimate.

This is the accomplishment of the ground. To meditate on this solely is to meditate by mixing after gaining stability. That is, first fully receive all the empowerments, then meditate on the six chakras of the upper gate, the three life channels, the channels and winds, and the four stages of approach and accomplishment of the lower gate. From this, one gradually attains the three: wisdom that is clear and non-conceptual like the sky, the nature of bliss and emptiness of the sun and moon, and the supreme joy that is indivisible, spontaneously perfect, and great. This is the gradual path. The wisdom of co-emergence arising simultaneously is called the sudden path. Also, receive empowerment in the mandala of external images, and practice meditating on impure winds, subtle winds, wisdom winds, the state of the four chakras, and the channels, bindus, and lights of each of them. Make it stable, and bestow the empowerment of wisdom and knowledge. By the method of holding the vajra vase, become skilled in coming and going, and introduce the ten bhumis, five paths, ten perfections, and the wisdom of the sixteen joys. The wisdom that arises from playing with the consort, the moon goddess, is the ultimate truth, the empowerment of wisdom and knowledge. Then, after instructing to meditate on the upper gate, speak of the instructions for reversing the bindu of the lower gate. The wisdom that arises from playing with the consort, the sun goddess, is the empowerment of great bliss, the arising of the wisdom of indivisible truth. By practicing this, one traverses the ground of Vajradhara. The Chandra-guhya Tantra says, "Without desire, there is no enlightenment; from within sin, be free from attachment." The Ocean Tantra says, "By the differentiated winds that arise, the upper and lower gates where wisdom arises, the means of hooking and bending, the three life-channels of the three wheels, the movement of fire and wind in the realm of space, milking upwards and appearing, bending the three, the order of the five minds, arising sixteen, obtaining the ground, because of co-emergence, bondage itself is the path of liberation." The five minds are: when combined with the consort, the bodhicitta moves from its place, descends to its place and rises, is held in the vajra and abides, is drawn upwards and enters, and fills the body and becomes the ultimate bodhicitta, these are the five.
