It is not. Not color, not shape. Not a place, nor anything. It is thus the essence of suchness, the wisdom. Furthermore, "From any of the ten directions and four times, one cannot find the complete Buddha." "The nature of mind is the complete Buddha. Do not seek the Buddha elsewhere." As it is said, to ascertain the meaning of this, there are three: example, meaning, and sign. The example of the mind's nature being pure by nature is like the sky in a clear day, devoid of all clouds, without substance or characteristics. The meaning is that the nature of mind is not established anywhere and transcends all speech, thought, and expression, being self-arisen wisdom. The sign is this very clarity of various memories and awareness, without foundation or basis, without color or shape, but represented by this appearance. As it is also said in the *All-Creating King* Tantra: "If you wish to know my nature, look at the example of the sky. The meaning is that it is unborn in all ways. The sign is awareness, the mind of enlightenment." Thus it is. It is not a complete annihilation of non-existence, so it is clear but without a basis, like the depths of a clear ocean. Existence is not entirely established, so it is like the sky in a clear day. Qualities are spontaneously accomplished, so it is like a wish-fulfilling jewel. As it is said in the ocean: "The sky, the ocean, jewels, and so on, are represented by close examples." Thus it is. Its essence is not established anywhere, so it is called *ka-dag* (primordial purity). Qualities are complete from the beginning, so it is called *lhundrub* (spontaneous accomplishment). Essence is one, but nature is not two, like water and the moon's reflection in water. As it is said in the *Extensive Tantra*: "All that is called pure is not the purity of eliminating things, but it is pure in appearance and enjoyment. Self-awareness and wisdom arise as a form, body and wisdom are inconceivable." Thus it is. In terms of distinctions, in both *ka-dag* and *lhundrub*, essence, wisdom, and non-duality are considered to be three each. As it is said in the former: "Essence and wisdom are non-dual, spontaneously accomplished and completely pure." Thus it is. Among them, the essence of *ka-dag* is that the nature of mind is pure from the beginning. The wisdom of *ka-dag* is that awareness, from the moment it arises or abides, is without essence. The non-duality of *ka-dag* is that whatever appears, its nature is not established as different from it. Similarly, the essence of *lhundrub* is that the mind's nature, which is luminous from the beginning, is not made by anyone and exists from the beginning without change in the three times. Chapter.

From... it is said that the past and present occurrences, as well as these uncertain times in the future, are equal without precedence. So it is said. Spontaneous Wisdom is the very manifestation of the three mandalas and all appearances as the play of wisdom. It is believed that it is not created by anyone, but wisdom itself appears spontaneously. As the Vajra says: All dharmas are pure from the beginning, Wisdom itself appears to itself, Not made by anyone, but arising spontaneously, From the very beginning, it is spontaneously accomplished. So it is said. Non-dual spontaneous accomplishment means that even the appearance as wisdom is not of a permanent and true nature, but is believed to be empty in essence, like a water moon or a reflection. As the Extensive Sutra says: Like all things are reflections, Actions appear but there is no substance, All exist like water moons, All appear but have no nature. So it is said. The second, the way of appearance, is: From such a basis, due to the arising of ignorance, the mind that grasps at self, sentient beings appear differently, like a dream. As this says: Emaho, from the Tathagatagarbha, transformed by the karma of one's own conceptual thoughts. So it is said. When it appears like that, it cannot be determined at that moment. As the Sequential Sutra says: Samsara is like a reflection, Its nature is originally in nirvana. So it is said. That is also at the time of sentient beings, the appearance of the mind, the objects and forms appear in various ways, like grasping a conch shell as yellow. When delusion is purified, for the Buddha, the appearance of wisdom, appearing as body and pure lands, is also transformed from the purification of the aggregates, elements, and sources of the past basis, just as the yellow conch shell appears white due to the purification of phlegm. Third, the divisions are three: ultimate truth, conventional truth, and non-dual truth. As the Path Stages Sutra says: That is also established in three ways. So it is said. The first is: the nature of all dharmas is free from the extremes of elaboration. As the Extensive Sutra says: All dharmas without exception, are the boundary of suchness and emptiness, reality and the realm of dharma, without characteristics and without objects. So it is said. That is, when all dharmas are analyzed and examined with wisdom, they do not establish any entity, and when they appear, they abide in the state of being free from the three stages of arising, abiding, and ceasing. As this says: Ema, wonderful and amazing dharma, the secret of all perfect Buddhas, all arise from the unborn, and when they arise, there is no arising. Thus reciting and translating.
