Furthermore, during the time of teaching and listening to the Dharma, if someone is controlled by demons and becomes weary, thinking, "What's the use of doing this?", then in this life, they will obstruct the self-nature of meditative concentration, wisdom, and liberation, which are rich in words and meaning. In the next life, due to the fault of not encountering the Dharma, they will endlessly wander in samsara. Therefore, one should restrain one's behavior with great respect and listen in a proper manner. The way to advise both is: the essential instructions for all Dharma practices come from the tantra of the Manifest Realization, which says: "First, generate the mind of enlightenment. Visualize yourself as Tara, and visualize a lotus in your right ear. Visualize the teacher as Manjushri, and the light from the teacher's face will definitely dissolve into the lotus. Visualize all beings as goddesses, and when leaving, contemplate non-conceptual emptiness for two moments." Therefore, visualize the face of the teacher Manjushri, and the Dharma's teachings emanate as light from his mouth, dissolving into your right ear, which has become the mother Tara. Think that the words and meanings fill your body, purifying all defilements. When the Dharma ends, the change of the beginning and end of the Dharma session also symbolizes impermanence, and in the state of thinking of its self-nature as emptiness, dedicate the merit and pass the session break in an illusory manner. Moreover, the teacher teaching the Dharma is generosity, the absence of afflictions is discipline, enduring the fatigue and harm of teaching the Dharma is patience, joyfully exerting effort is diligence, not being distracted from teaching the Dharma is meditative concentration, and distinguishing the words and meanings is wisdom, thus perfecting the six paramitas. The listener should also offer the Dharma seat for teaching the Dharma and offerings such as water and flowers, which is generosity. Restraining the impure actions of body, speech, and mind, such as stretching legs, etc. The "Entering the Bodhisattva's Way of Life" says: "One should not sit with legs stretched out, nor turn one's back to the speaker, hold an umbrella, staff, or weapon, or wrap one's head with a cloth, etc." And so on, until not making loud or small noises, this is restraining the body. Not engaging in idle chatter, whispering, repeating words, etc., is the fault of speech. Restraining the afflictions and distrust in the mind, etc., is discipline. Not harming insects, bees, etc., that come to the Dharma assembly, enduring the harm of lice, etc., whether large or small, requesting the teacher to teach the Dharma and diligently listening, this is dili
