It originated from the abode of the Dakinis. So, how was it that in the past, when the Bhagavan was residing in Jambudvipa, the emanation Shravakas, endowed with miraculous powers, departed from this continent to other places? The king, seeing them traveling in the sky, asked his attendants what was happening. The attendants replied, "These are the retinue of the Tathagata, the emanation Shravakas, departing to other continents." The king asked, "Whose power is it that allows them to travel in the sky like this?" The attendants replied, "It is the power of the Buddha." The king said, "Who is the Tathagata? Who is the Buddha?" The attendants replied, "The Tathagata Buddha, the Bhagavan Shakyamuni, is now residing at Vulture Peak Mountain and other places, together with his retinue of Arhats." The king ordered, "Invite such a person to my palace." Then, the Bhagavan, together with his retinue of Arhats, was invited, and the king offered him a parasol. The king then asked the Bhagavan, "From where do these great qualities of the Sugata, such as strength and fearlessness, arise?" The Bhagavan replied, "They arise from accumulating pure collections of virtue." The king requested, "I also wish to practice in the same way, please grant me permission." The Bhagavan replied, "That is excellent. Renounce your sons and consorts, and go forth into homelessness, practicing the six perfections." The king said, "I cannot do that. Please teach me a Dharma by which I can attain enlightenment together with my consorts." Immediately, he manifested the mandala of the six lineages and bestowed empowerment. He then instructed the glorious Vajrapani, saying, "Realize the intention of the Buddhas of the past, and speak when the time is right." Thus, for the benefit of the disciples, he explained the ten principles of realizing the tantra of the union of all Buddhas. After that, the king understood the meaning of the five classes of tantra and practiced them. Together with his retinue of a hundred thousand, he attained the level of Vidyadhara. He entrusted the instructions to the dog's Khenpo. In the history of the Sangdu, it is said that the rest is as before. It is also said, "In an instant, the teacher manifested in the form of Vajradhara and went to Akanishta, where he taught the Guhyasamaja." It is also said, "I."

Indrabodhi, the first protector, is said not to be the king of the land of Oddiyana. Another version states: During the reign of King Ja, the son of the great Indrabodhi, in the land of Zahor, there was a formidable mountain called Malaya. On the summit of that mountain, the king of beasts, the lion, frolicked; at its foot was the den of the ferocious tiger; on its side was a white rock resembling a lion leaping into the sky, upon which grew various fruit-laden trees. To the east of it was a cave called Trisya Anuttara, with wondrous natural drawings at its entrance. An eight-faceted white jewel, the interplay of sun and moon, naturally appeared; on its peak was the nest of the Kalantaka bird; at its base was a spring of nectar; in front was a garden blooming with various flowers; the branches of the tree stretched in all directions, protecting from the harms of the four seasons; the fruit of that tree became medicine, and when eaten, it cured various diseases. On the mountainside was a three-storied castle, in the middle chamber of which dwelt the fortunate King Ja himself. At that time, twenty-eight years after the Buddha's passing into nirvana, on the sun-day of the king of the month of great miracles, various wondrous omens appeared, and the king and his retinue arranged vast offerings, so that at night the palace and city, along with the summit of the fiery mountain, were filled with light. Thereafter, by the compassion of the departed, the time had come to turn the wheel of the secret mantra dharma of the teachings, and the glorious lord of secrets, Vajrapani, manifested, with a retinue of sacred lineage: the famous divine protector of the gods, the Naga King Jogpo, the Yaksha Star-Arrow Face, the Rakshasa Wisdom-Skillful, and the fortunate Licchavi Immaculate among humans, these five gathered, turning the wheel of the Vajrayana dharma, and the Rakshasa Wisdom-Skillful recorded it, bestowing blessings. At that time, as mentioned above, King Ja experienced seven dream omens. Then, the son of King Laga Thung and Mother Hair-Robe, a monk named Kukuraja, was very wise and thought that King Indrabodhi was his disciple, so he intended to load him on an elephant.
