The supreme of places that are in accordance with the appearance of sentient beings, the Akanishta, the abode of the five pure abodes of the fourth dhyana of the form realm of their respective worlds, is not a coarse object, but a place made of the nature of pure light. There, adorned with various arrangements such as palaces, when a Buddha appears in the world, he first shows himself as a Buddha adorned with marks and examples that are in accordance with the Sambhogakaya, and teaches gods, siddhas, and countless lords of vidyadharas, and disciplines them with various vehicles such as conduct, practice, yoga tantras, and paramitas. As it is said in the Well-Accomplished Tantra: "In the beautiful Akanishta of the Pure Abodes, siddhas, lords, and others are satisfied with vidya mantras, dharani mantras, yoga, and various tantric teachings." Furthermore, in the Eye Commentary composed by the teacher Buddhasamgupta, it says: "The Akanishta of meaning is the Dharmadhatu, the abode of the Buddhas, because there is nothing else above it." "The Akanishta of symbols appears as the shape and color of a palace as a symbol of the inseparability of dhatu and wisdom, and is the abode of the Sambhogakaya, because there is nothing else above that symbol which symbolizes the Dharmadhatu. The Akanishta of wisdom is the wisdom of realizing the reality of things as they are. It is the abode of the Dharmakaya, which has two purities, because there is no other wisdom above it. The secret Akanishta is the space of the mother, and is the abode of the secret body, because there is nothing else above the non-abiding qualities. The Akanishta of realization is the first practitioner meditating on the palace of Akanishta, and is the abode of the mandala of the superior samadhi, because there is nothing else above the conceptualization that holds the general meaning." "The Akanishta of the worldly abode is the very top of the five pure abodes, and is the abode of the noble ones, because there is nothing else above that abode of the form realm." Although six meanings appear, they are all included in the previous categories. The Akanishta of meaning and wisdom are included in the Dharmakaya, and the Sambhogakaya of symbols and the other three eman

are embodiments, the Akanishta of place, and the Akanishta of secrecy and realization are included in that through practicing the path of the emanation body. Fourth, abandoning disputes: If there are no self-sustaining beings to be tamed in the realm of self-appearing enjoyment body, the place where the tantras are spoken, then there is no need to teach the Dharma, and the mandala of meaning symbols does not need to be shown to those to be tamed, but to the emanation of one's own mind, because the emanation has no conceptualization. Then someone might say, "There are both self-sustaining retinues and emanations." This seems to be that you have not understood, because there is a need to teach the Dharma because there are those to be tamed by the emanation, because the secret lords of later generations have a need to explain, and for the sake of meaning symbols, it is not shown to those to be tamed, but the qualities of perfect enjoyment spontaneously arise in self-appearance, just like images appear on the surface of a mirror. Although the emanation has no conceptualization, it has wisdom, so it listens to and upholds the Dharma. If the emanation did not have the wisdom of awareness, then there would be the fault that the wisdom of knowing the suchness and extent of Shakyamuni Buddha and the secret lords, etc., would not exist. The scriptures also contradict this, such as, "Likewise, from the distinction of mind, the self-appearing victorious mind is complete," and "The Tathagata himself speaks specifically," and "Likewise, in the compassion of the wisdom mandala, the self-nature Dharmadhatu is empowered," and "Self-appearance is the clear purity of the samadhi image illusion." In short, the three bodies of the Buddha and the various emanations and realms are inconceivable and immeasurable. The Avatamsaka Sutra says, "In a single tip of a hair, there are countless realms, various shapes are different, and they are not mixed together." Therefore, where space pervades, the Dharmakaya and Sambhogakaya pervade, and where sentient beings pervade, the Nirmanakaya and activity pervade, so the realm of the Sugata has no direction or limit. It should be understood that above this realm, there are other inconceivable and inexpressible realms. Impure appearances are also just one's own appearances, and should be viewed as pure realms, like the appearance of the sun and moon.
