O Protector, Lord of Dharma! By realizing the nature of reality, samsara and nirvana are liberated from the root. To the feet of the incomparable protector of beings, the Lama, who is inseparable from Samantabhadra and his enlightened intent, I prostrate. In the state of awareness, samsara and nirvana are without distinction. From the root, unborn, dharma exhausted, beyond mind. The movement of dharmata awareness, without object of grasping and being grasped. Uninterrupted, relaxed, nakedly transparent. Whatever appears is the form of emptiness, without basis. Appearing from nothing, like an illusion, like a moon in water. Appearing but without truth, never existing from the beginning. Emptiness without object, nakedly transparent. Whatever arises, without bias, the state of self-luminous emptiness. Memories and thoughts without trace, vanishing into emptiness like the sky. Mind and mental events, without root substance. Without object of grasping, transparent in emptiness. Whatever appears in existence, the vessel and its contents, samsara and nirvana. Emptiness, pristine, unmade, primordial state. Without basis, without support, the state of self-arising awareness. The manner of appearance unceasing, transparent in appearance. Self-luminous, without grasping, the movement of dharmadhatu awareness. Vast, completely liberated, in the intent of the Buddhas. All kinds of dharmas, primordially pure. Innate, beyond mind, nakedly transparent. However it appears, one does not grasp it as such. However it appears, one does not think of it as such. Without elaboration or contraction, the state of self-liberated awareness. Naturally abiding, relaxed, nakedly transparent. Not expanding outward, not contracting inward. Not making it in the mind, the target beyond mind. Neither meditating nor not meditating, the state beyond thought. Self-arising wisdom, nakedly transparent. Uninterrupted between sessions, the vast movement of awareness. Self-luminous, naked, free from all targets. Without outer or inner object, the primordial state of dharmadhatu. Uninterrupted awareness, transparent in the dharmakaya. Primordially spontaneously accomplished, in the intent of the Buddhas. From the root, unmade, spontaneously accomplished state. Cause and effect, acceptance and rejection, samsara and nirvana without duality. Clear light awareness, transparent in the sambhogakaya. Unwavering, not abiding, in stainless awareness. Nowhere established, nothing ceasing. Transcending limits, bias, existence and non-existence. The basis of appearance unceasing, transparent in the nirmanakaya. Although appearing in samsara, the form of emptiness without basis. The self-nature of delusion, never existing from the beginning. Nothing to abandon, this illusory clarity. The abyss of samsara, the intent of thoroughness, transparent! The manner of the unfolding of self-appearance, nothing ceasing. Body and wisdom

Pure lands and so on, however they may appear, are forms of emptiness without a basis. Samsara and nirvana, without names, are thoroughly clear in emptiness. In the state of reason, whatever good or bad may appear, is merely the play of unceasing self-appearance in emptiness and clarity. Not moving elsewhere, not established in itself, the non-dual self-appearing awareness is thoroughly clear. Appearances and conceptualized phenomena are delusions imputed by the mind. Not established anywhere, in a state without inner or outer places, self-born wisdom transcends the limits of elaboration. In the state of the exhaustion of phenomena, the exhaustion of mind is thoroughly clear. Samsara is acceptable, nirvana is acceptable, appearance is acceptable, existence is also acceptable. What is grasped is acceptable, what grasps is acceptable, everything is without a root. In the supreme pinnacle of vehicles, the Great Perfection, from the beginning, is the Buddha's Dharmakaya thoroughly clear. Without rejection or acceptance, in the realm of Great Bodhi, without change, the expanse of self-born awareness. Transcending the mind, in the state of the Great Perfection, the all-creating awareness, all phenomena are thoroughly clear. Without thought or analysis, the basis of great expanse. Not moving from the Dharmadhatu, the Dharmakaya is in its own place. Self-awareness, stainless, in the state of manifest fruition, self-born awareness is unchanging and thoroughly clear. In the sky-like space of the Dharmakaya, free from action and effort, with the great power of realization of self-born awareness, completely cutting off the precipice of the vehicle of cause and effect, the great Garuda of awareness is thoroughly clear from the beginning. The great power of the perfected Dharmata Vajra Body, the meaning of the supreme pinnacle of vehicles, the Great Perfection, as it is, manifested in the vast expanse, completely liberating the three realms, raising the unfailing victory banner. May all beings without exception be effortlessly and completely liberated, and may they spontaneously accomplish the Dharmakaya of Samantabhadra. The realm of the meaning of the Great Perfection, the song of the Garuda Vajra. Completed, composed in the solitary place of Lhundrup Gling for the sake of the teacher Rinchen Sherab. Composed by the supreme vehicle yogi Longchen Rabjam, called "Sky Without Center or Edge." ༈ Homage to the Guru. The songs spoken by the great accomplished Gurus are immeasurable, but this one was spoken by the yogi Longchen Rabjam at the supreme place of Lhundrup Gling when turning the wheel of Dharma, to the fortunate ones gathered there, recounting how the previous accomplished ones attained accomplishment, and how the interdependent connection of purifying wind and mind was arranged. Some said, "Precious Guru, such a manner
