Do not engage in meaningless activities. Please abandon laziness and practice the sacred Dharma. In short, now that you have obtained leisure and endowment, be skilled in distinguishing between what to accept and reject in the Dharma of samsara and nirvana. Accomplish the ultimate aspiration—the path to liberation and enlightenment. For the benefit of this life and the next, this is the best advice. Having said this, the renunciate, with great faith and longing for liberation, straightened his body, joined his palms, and said: You, who possess the inherent nature of virtue, are a friend to beings. Even those who do not know you are spiritual friends. What need is there to mention those who always rely on you? You are an unparalleled wonder, I take refuge in you. You are the great ocean of wisdom, possessing the lotus of virtue. From the spring of compassionate nectar, please grant me the nectar of the Dharma of skillful instruction. Please, with compassion, grant me the opportunity. Having said this, the best of rabbits, knowing that he was a vessel for receiving instruction, said: Whoever desires to pursue the benefit of this life and the next, please abandon wealth, alcohol, and unrestrained women. Rely on the holy ones, seek faith, diligence, study, and contemplation. Practice meditation and rely on solitary places. By practicing these supreme white virtues, one can reach the excellent land beyond the three realms, just as the Sugata's moon is beautiful in the sky, or the bodhisattva captain navigates the ship in the ocean. Having said this, the renunciate thought: Where are those foolish people who, without examining or investigating the meaning of what should be fully accomplished, rush into things rashly? When they encounter a slight difficulty, they easily give up, causing their efforts to be fruitless. But those who are intelligent, clear, and wise first distinguish the faults and virtues of what should be practiced or abandoned. They examine it with their own abilities, carefully study it, and then act. Afterwards, even when faced with very difficult situations, they do not fear, and therefore whatever they undertake is completed. Therefore, they are known as holy beings. I too should emulate them, and for the time being, use my own abilities to judge whether to act or stop. What is the difference between what should be accepted and rejected? Thus, he examined and investigated the instruction he had received. At that time, the Dharma that should be abandoned was also seen to be adorned with beautiful qualities in the world, and the Dharma that should be accepted was mostly...

It is seen as a characteristic that is difficult to achieve. Briefly, first praise the merits of wealth: Whoever has it is a place of respect for all. Wealth is like the glory of the gods, praised by beings. The best of all beings are held as the standard by all. Seeing the merits of wealth, it is appropriate to strive for it. A person without wealth is like a beggar at a crossroads. Everyone abandons him, and he is laughed at for being inferior. Because he is not included in any rank, inside or outside. Seeing the merits of wealth, it is appropriate to strive for it. Whoever is adorned with wealth by the holy ones, all matters will be accomplished spontaneously and perfectly. Like a rain of desired things from a wish-fulfilling jewel. Seeing the merits of wealth, it is appropriate to strive for it. When there is no wealth, everyone abandons you. Look at how the entourage covered by the kindness of the good, and friends and relatives will abandon you. Seeing the merits of wealth, it is appropriate to strive for it. If someone has wealth, then crowds of people will gather spontaneously without being gathered. Like swans gathering at a pleasant lake. Seeing the merits of wealth, it is appropriate to strive for it. A person without wealth, even if he has wise advice and firm determination. No one listens to him and everyone considers him to be nonsense. Even if what he says is true, he is still cursed. Seeing the merits of wealth, it is appropriate to strive for it. If you are wealthy, even if your personality is rough. He is considered prudent, so listen to his words. Even if he is wrong, he is still bowed to with respect. Seeing the merits of wealth, it is appropriate to strive for it. When there is no wealth, whether old or young. Whatever your lineage, merit, or ancestry. Everyone is relegated to the bottom, even left behind. Seeing the merits of wealth, it is appropriate to strive for it. Whoever has wealth, even if he has various flaws. Even if he is of bad lineage, without merit, and ignorant. Everyone praises him and follows him. Seeing the merits of wealth, it is appropriate to strive for it. When there is no wealth, even if one is learned, disciplined, and virtuous. He is maliciously slandered and considered to have no merit. Abandoned by his entourage, he becomes an object of pity. Seeing the merits of wealth, it is appropriate to strive for it. If you have wealth, even if you are promiscuous, ignorant, and evil. Everyone respects him and defends him. Bowing respectfully and following him. Seeing the merits of wealth, it is appropriate to strive for it. When there is no wealth, whether it is a worldly person or one who has entered the Dharma.
