也难以依止啊！ 在那地方，有非时的声音和地震， 出现怪声和岩石崩塌等， 由于凶猛而令人恐惧的征兆很多， 即使想要解脱也难以依止啊！ 野蛮人、鬼怪和豺狼嚎叫， 熊、棕熊、老虎和豹子等， 凶猛残暴的野兽成群， 即使想要解脱也难以依止啊！ 舍弃今生的食物、财富和所有人， 在那样的处所，谁会居住呢？ 就像被国王惩罚驱逐的人一样， 即使想要解脱也难以依止啊！ 在那地方，安乐和痛苦的因缘也很多， 一旦发生障碍，向谁询问呢？ 生病了没有侍者，死了也没有人知道， 即使想要解脱也难以依止啊！ 即使是与朋友一起的寂静山坡， 由于地势高，下坡时水质恶劣， 行走困难，起居都很痛苦， 即使想要解脱也难以依止啊！ 如果很多人聚集，就会互相分心， 像村庄附近的寺庙一样，没有寂静的意义， 如果少数人居住，就无法抵挡盗贼， 即使想要解脱也难以依止啊！ 如果那寂静处，让人感到厌倦， 就坐不住，喜欢闲逛和聊天， 无法控制分别念，无意义的事情很多， 即使想要解脱也难以依止啊！ 如果放下今生的事情和闻思， 即使开始修行，也没有成就的征兆， 连一个有意义的经文要点也没有， 即使想要解脱也难以依止啊！ 如果放弃俗事，就不会有顺缘， 如果忙碌，就与寂静的修行相违背， 即使如法修行，也总是面临危险， 即使想要解脱也难以依止啊！ 住在寂静处的人们，难以与他人相处， 意识愚钝，分别念比谁都粗重， 闲聊很多，内心不善良， 即使想要解脱也难以依止啊！ 寂静处的人们，像女人堆一样， 暂时见面时，似乎很和睦、很温顺， 但本性愤怒和嫉妒的刺痛很强烈， 即使想要解脱也难以依止啊！ 所谓的寂静处，也是愚痴无知的畜生之地， 愚痴聚集，被愚痴的群体依止， 愚痴加上愚痴，愚痴永不停止， 即使想要解脱也难以依止啊！ 寂

Having abandoned all worldly food, wealth, and people, Who would reside in such a place? Like someone expelled by the king's punishment, Even if one desires liberation, it is difficult to rely on! In that place, there are also many causes of happiness and suffering, If an obstacle arises, there is no one to ask. If one is sick, there is no attendant; if one dies, no one notices, Even if one desires liberation, it is difficult to rely on! Even a secluded mountainside with friends, Due to the high altitude, the water is bad on the descent. Travel is difficult, and living is full of suffering, Even if one desires liberation, it is difficult to rely on! If many gather, they distract one another, Like monasteries near villages, there is no meaning of seclusion. If few reside, they cannot withstand enemies and thieves, Even if one desires liberation, it is difficult to rely on! If that seclusion makes one feel weary of others, One cannot sit still, likes to wander and chat. One cannot control discursive thoughts, and there are many meaningless activities, Even if one desires liberation, it is difficult to rely on! Having abandoned worldly affairs and study and contemplation, Even if one engages in practice, there are no signs of accomplishment, There is not even one essential point of the scriptures, Even if one desires liberation, it is difficult to rely on! If one abandons activities, favorable conditions do not arise, If one is busy, it contradicts the nature of seclusion. Even if one practices according to the Dharma, one is always in danger, Even if one desires liberation, it is difficult to rely on! Those who dwell in seclusion find it difficult to associate with others, Their minds are dull, and their discursive thoughts are coarser than anyone else's. They talk a lot, and their inner nature is not gentle, Even if one desires liberation, it is difficult to rely on! The people in seclusion are like a group of women, When you see them for a while, they seem harmonious and gentle. But their nature is full of anger, jealousy, and intense pain, Even if one desires liberation, it is difficult to rely on! The so-called seclusion is a place for ignorant and foolish animals, Ignorance gathers, and is relied upon by a group of ignorant people. 说“寂静处”却是心眼昏花的处所， 以前学过的遗忘，新产生愚痴， 学识贫乏，闻思毫无头绪， 虽然想解脱，却难以依止啊！ 说“寂静处”却是悠闲懒惰的处所， 所有无法忍受佛法和世俗艰难的人， 都以修行作借口，怎么舒服怎么睡， 虽然想解脱，却难以依止啊！ 说“寂静处”却是放纵自在的处所， 肉、酒、蒜、葱，所有非时之食， 何时想起就享用，毫无羞耻隐瞒， 虽然想解脱，却难以依止啊！ 说“寂静处”却是未经教养孩童的处所， 脱离群体，没有人训斥管教， 行为放纵，超出应为的限度， 虽然想解脱，却难以依止啊！ 说“寂静处”却是放荡疯癫的处所， 人喝酒，酒喝人， 胡言乱语，唱歌跳舞，诅咒谩骂，鬼哭狼嚎， 虽然想解脱，却难以依止啊！ 说“寂静处”却是见识短浅的处所， 一句不合就生气，嗔恨怨恨增长， 好坏一生，心胸比别人狭隘， 虽然想解脱，却难以依止啊！ 说“寂静处”却是外境恶劣的处所， 放纵饮酒，以及诸多不顺之缘， 微弱的对治，是毁坏梵行的因， 虽然想解脱，却难以依止啊！ 说“寂静处”却是掩盖丑陋的处所， 被他人指出缺点，遭到众人抛弃， 以及诸根不全的人所亲近依止， 虽然想解脱，却难以依止啊！ 总之，如今寂静的山崖边， 顺缘稀少，违缘众多， 对于那些野兽出没的地方， 想解脱的人也难以依止啊！ 如此说来，因为真理被颠倒的黑暗所遮蔽，难以忍受，所以对圣地加以诽谤，罪业深重。为了扭转这种局面，兔子中的佼佼者说道： 以慈悲的广大白伞， 遍布三有众生如虚空般， 完全安置一切的至尊仙人们， 请听闻他们恒常依止寂静处的赞叹。 能仁至尊仙人们安住之处， 高尚的人们所依止之处， 具足功德自性者们欢喜之处， 智者们恒常赞叹之处。

Saying "seclusion" is a place of leisure and laziness, All who cannot endure the hardships of Dharma and worldly affairs, Use meditation as an excuse, sleeping comfortably as they please, Although desiring liberation, it is difficult to rely upon! Saying "seclusion" is a place of unrestrained freedom, Meat, alcohol, garlic, onions, all untimely foods, Enjoyed whenever desired, without shame or secrecy, Although desiring liberation, it is difficult to rely upon! Saying "seclusion" is a place for uneducated children, Separated from community, with no one to scold or discipline, Behavior is unrestrained, exceeding the limits of what should be done, Although desiring liberation, it is difficult to rely upon! Saying "seclusion" is a place for reckless madmen, People drink alcohol, alcohol drinks people, Speaking nonsense, singing songs, cursing and scolding, wailing like ghosts, Although desiring liberation, it is difficult to rely upon! Saying "seclusion" is a place of narrow-mindedness, Unable to bear a single word, anger and resentment increase, In good and bad times, the mind is smaller than others, Although desiring liberation, it is difficult to rely upon! Saying "seclusion" is a place of bad external conditions, Reckless drinking and many unfavorable circumstances, The weak antidotes are the cause of destroying pure conduct, Although desiring liberation, it is difficult to rely upon! Saying "seclusion" is a place to hide ugliness, Being abandoned by all for faults pointed out by others, And being closely relied upon by those with incomplete faculties, Although desiring liberation, it is difficult to rely upon! In short, nowadays on the cliffs of seclusion, Few favorable conditions, many unfavorable conditions, For those places frequented by wild animals, Even those desiring liberation find it difficult to rely upon! Having said this, because the truth is obscured by the unbearable darkness of inversion, and because slandering the holy place carries a heavy burden of sin, desiring to reverse this situation, the best of rabbits spoke: With the vast white umbrella of compassion, Covering all beings in the three realms like the expanse of space, The supreme sages who completely arrange everything, Please listen to the praise of seclusion, which they always rely upon. The place where the supreme sage, the Able One, dwells, The place relied upon by noble beings, The place delighted in by those with inherent qualities, The place constantly praised by the wise.
