生起善良的自性！如此说后，对圣者们极度恭敬，乐于生起信仰的善良自性。之后，那位出家人又想到：如此依赖信仰之路，是因极好的福分才能接受的，但精进是难以做到的，所以无法成就。心想后说道：具有欲望甘露的主人，众生的亲友，如理行善从何处生起一样，一切福分功德的来源，殊胜的兔（指月亮），精进的自性难以生起啊！无论对何事精进也没有尽头，无论多么精进也没有完成的时候，即使很好地精进也有可能出现过失，所以精进的自性难以生起啊！有些人因精进而造作罪业，而懒惰者却增长功德，这在世间清晰可见，所以精进的自性难以生起啊！有些人因精进而仅获得衣食，即使安住于懒惰，也会自然而然地降临。最终结果相同，果实不会迟缓，所以精进的自性难以生起啊！有些人对佛法也同样如此，有些人天生就具备，即使没有精进也被众人视为 श्रेष्ठ，所以精进的自性难以生起啊！过去串习的自性微弱，今生迷惑的显现众多，而且三种懒惰也总是容易产生，所以精进的自性难以生起啊！身语的活动极其不驯服，世俗的事务极其繁杂，而且佛法的意义也极难成就，所以精进的自性难以生起啊！身语意三门的劳累也是痛苦，精进的自性也是没有尽头，而且总是努力也是无法做到的，所以精进的自性难以生起啊！生生世世业障的黑暗无边无际，真正善行的部分数量稀少，像我这样的人何时才能获得圆满的佛果？精进的自性难以生起啊！那些在佛法道路上精进修行的人们，也有许多被障碍魔所欺骗，看到从善业中退失的情况，所以精进的自性难以生起啊！总之，佛法

No matter what one is diligent about, there is no end, no matter how diligent one is, there is no completion, even if one is very diligent, there may be faults, so the nature of diligence is difficult to generate! Some people only obtain food, drink, clothing through diligence, even if they remain in laziness, it will naturally come. In the end, the result is the same, the fruit is not delayed, so the nature of diligence is difficult to generate! Some people are the same in Dharma, some are naturally endowed, even without diligence, they are considered supreme by everyone, so the nature of diligence is difficult to generate! The nature of past habits is weak, the appearances of confusion in this life are numerous, and the three kinds of laziness are always easy to arise, so the nature of diligence is difficult to generate! The activities of body and speech are extremely unruly, worldly affairs are extremely busy, and the meaning of Dharma is also extremely difficult to accomplish, so the nature of diligence is difficult to generate! The fatigue of the three doors of body, speech, and mind is also suffering, the nature of diligence is also endless, and it is impossible to always strive, so the nature of diligence is difficult to generate! The darkness of karmic obscurations from lifetime to lifetime is boundless, the parts of truly virtuous actions are few in number, when will someone like me attain complete Buddhahood?
