Thus, the offering of clouds of delightful objects, unobstructedly manifesting adornments in the ten directions, by their own manifest measure, may all the tathagatas be pleased. Thus, the play of skillful means, the most secret essence, the suchness of the assembled appearances, is certain. This is the explanation of the twelfth chapter on accumulating the accumulations of merit and wisdom on the path. Secondly, entering the meaning of the essence, the completion stage has three aspects: the connection of the meaning, the explanation of the words, and the summary of the meaning of the context. Firstly: Having shown the stage of the development path, in order to show the completion stage, the teacher Samantabhadra, in whom all the body, speech, and mind vajra mandalas of all the tathagatas of the ten directions and four times are gathered in one place, plays with the great bliss of unsurpassed wisdom, encompassing all phenomena of samsara and nirvana, the naturally perfect Great Perfection, the spontaneously accomplished samaya, the nature that is extremely secret to those who are not vessels, the cloud of the essence of that very nature, is revealed to those who possess excellent fortune, entering into samadhi, for the sake of the sacred and profound instructions, these are spoken, thus he speaks. Secondly, there are two: generally showing how the meaning abides in the mind of the secret vajra master, and specifically explaining the meaning of the Great Perfection of self-nature. The first has three aspects: identifying the meaning, in general, the ultimate meaning of each vehicle depends on the teacher who explains it; in particular, the ultimate meaning of the Great Perfection of self-nature is hidden in the words of the tantras, therefore, those who desire instructions must please the guru. Thus, the inconceivable and inexpressible vehicles exist in countless buddhafields and sentient realms, so it is uncertain; but in this fortunate eon and in this world of endurance, the lamp of the Buddha has been lit, and the inferior, superior, and inverted vehicles and the principles of the scriptures.

In short, there are eight categories in summary. The first, not understanding the correct meaning, refers to ordinary people who have not entered a sect. They merely pursue what is good, preserving the attainment of good destinies, which is the vehicle of gods and humans. Its meaning lies in being reborn as desired gods and humans through the ten virtuous actions, and cultivating the higher realms of formless meditation. The Madhyamaka states, "The correct view of worldly people," and so on. Some consider this to be nihilists and annihilationists, but this does not align with the preceding and following context, and it fails to distinguish the differences between vehicles. Because the vehicle of goddesses was previously taught in the context of the five vehicles, and the meaning of all existing vehicles is summarized here, it is referred to as the preserved vehicle. Nihilists and annihilationists are categories within other heterodox schools that hold inverted views, so they are unrelated here. To misconceive the correct meaning is to be a non-Buddhist. The number of wrong views is inconceivable, but if summarized, there are four types of eternalists and one type of annihilationist, collectively known as the five Tirthika schools. The four eternalist schools are: the logicians who claim that Ishvara (དབང་ཕྱུག་, īśvara, Lord, Īśvara,自在天) is eternal, the Vaishnavas who claim that Vishnu (ཁྱབ་འཇུག་, viṣṇu, pervading, Vishnu,遍入天) is eternal, the Samkhyas who claim that prakriti (གཙོ་བོ་, prakṛti, nature, Prakriti,自性) is eternal, and the Vaisheshikas who claim that atoms are eternal. They also follow the sages Kapila, Kanada, Akshapada, and Uluka, respectively. The annihilationist school is the ucchedavada, or the one who speaks of beauty on the other shore, or the naked one, who worships Jupiter as a god. All of them claim to have a self. The eternalists believe that the self or prakriti is eternal, unique, and autonomous, and that it controls the elements, is of a pervasive nature, and resides in the hearts of all sentient beings. They believe that eternal gods such as Ishvara and Vishnu can cause beings to be reborn in heaven or hell. The annihilationists believe that the self suddenly arises and resides in the mother's womb, and that at death, the life of the self is cut off, resulting in annihilation between past and future. Therefore, they believe that there is no past or future life, no liberation, and no omniscience, and are thus called annihilationists or ucchedavadins. In summary, they can be categorized into the two views of eternalism and annihilationism. Just slightly inclined towards the correct meaning.
