I would like to say that, as it is said in "That Itself," just as the seeds and sprouts that exist in fruits like Amalaka, and the immortal Dharma ground, the water for cultivation, etc., gradually become the king of trees, similarly, the Dharma realm of virtue contained within the skin of the fruits, such as the mother nature of sentient beings, also gradually transforms into the nature of the King of Sages by relying on that virtue. Thus it is. Among them, the first lineage produces the Dharmakaya, and the second lineage produces the Rupakaya. As it is said in "That Itself," from these two lineages, one wishes to attain the three bodies of the Buddha. The first lineage is the first body, and the second lineage is the latter two bodies. Thus it is. Therefore, when the lineage that exists in the base awakens, there is an opportunity to generate Bodhicitta and practice the path. As a sign of the awakening of the first lineage, it is said in the Bodhisattvacharyavatara: Even in the stage of ordinary beings, after hearing about emptiness, great joy repeatedly arises in the mind. Tears from great joy moisten the eyes, and the hairs of the body stand on end. Whoever experiences these phenomena has the seed of the wisdom of the perfect Buddha. This is the vessel that can indicate that (seed), and the ultimate truth should be taught to him. Thus it is. The sign of the awakening of the second lineage is, as mentioned earlier, before (actual) union, compassion, faith, patience, and correct virtuous conduct are correctly proclaimed as signs of the lineage. Thus it is. According to the view of the secret mantra practitioners, such a lineage is like the sun obscured by clouds, or a jewel covered by mud. They believe that body, wisdom, and pure lands are naturally and spontaneously accomplished from the beginning, and they believe that all dharmas are inherently enlightened and there is nothing that is not enlightened. As in the branches of the Vajra Garland, etc., and "Other dharmas other than the Buddha are not attained by the Buddha himself." Thus it is. Even so, it is believed that the adventitious impurities of complete imputation, like ice melting into water, will be liberated into wisdom. As the Vajra says, "The five afflictions are the five wisdoms, and the three realms are the blissful realm." That is the reason. This method also comes from the final teaching, the definitive meaning sutra.

It is said that, as it is said in the Sutra of the Essence of the Thus-gone One: "Like a gold nugget of a person, it falls into impure things, and stays there for many years, but it is not a destructive dharma. The gods see it with their divine eyes, and in order to purify it, they speak to others, 'Here is a precious and excellent gold, purify that thing and do this.' Likewise, I see all sentient beings, who have been subdued by afflictions for a long time, and they know that these are sudden afflictions, and in order to purify their own nature, they teach the methods of skillful means." etc. Therefore, although one does not fall from such a lineage, like a Yogacara, one may temporarily fall from the lineage of practicing the path, so it is said. The meaning of the term "limb" is that the five vows of not abandoning and not discarding, these two are necessary as aids to accomplishing the root, so they are called the vows of the limb. Those are also equal because of the need for the root and whether or not they are needed, so it is very difficult to escape from that, like a pit on the side of a fence. Second, regarding the benefits and drawbacks, there are also two. The benefit of abiding in the vow is that all dharmas are originally enlightened in the body and wisdom, in the meaning of equality, the nature of combining equally with the path, skillful means, and profound wisdom, abiding in that great vow of equality, the three kayas of the result are inseparable, the qualities of equality are spontaneously perfected, so one should guard the vow. If one transgresses the vow, one cannot attain Buddhahood, so do not transgress, just as abiding in the king's law brings happiness, and transgressing brings punishment. Second, regarding the faults of falling, there are also two. Regarding the faults of falling from the root vow, there are also falling, decline, and harming others, that is, a person who has fallen from the root vow, abandons the training, and does not strive to restore the method of the vow, do not associate with that person even for a moment, do not even speak to each other for a moment, why? Because in this life one will suffer from diseases and harms.
