Thus, contemplate oneself as the Vajra Dharma. Whatever vows are broken, recite hundreds of thousands of times. If the vows of the mind are broken, Contemplate oneself as Vajrasattva. Without speaking for three years, Practice meditation and yoga diligently. If the branch vows are broken, Each replenishes with their own family. Thus, the transgressions of body, speech, and mind, mainly through the three doors, are purified by diligently confessing and making amends. This is the supreme method, superior to the lower ones. Among them, the monastic vows of the Hearers, if the mind of concealment has not arisen, it seems that they can be restored seven times, but if it has arisen, they cannot be restored even once, like a broken earthenware pot. A Bodhisattva is like a broken precious vessel, which can be restored by relying on a virtuous spiritual friend. Just as a skilled craftsman can make a vessel that is superior to the previous one. Mantra is like a precious vessel that is tilted, which can be restored by one's own power, therefore, Like not needing a craftsman, one's own efforts can straighten the tilt. Secondly, the difference between vows and precepts. Among them, one's own continuum, from the aspect of precepts, it also is, Holding the secret Vajra Three of the Buddha, keeping it from deteriorating, therefore it is also a vow, Like a single vase, it is both made and impermanent. Therefore, the essence is one, but the aspects are different. The "Subtle Tantra" says: Thus, the three hundred and sixty, My supreme Vajra Three, Do not fall into wrong views, the essence of precepts, It is said to be like the earth. Also, the "Fearsome Lightning" says: Since all dharmas are primordially pure, Wrong thoughts are primordially pure, Therefore, the precepts are extremely pure, This vow is very wonderful. Among them, measured from the perspective of precepts, there are three: Pratimoksha, Bodhisattva, and Vidyadhara precepts. The "Vajra Peak" says: Pratimoksha and Bodhicitta, The precepts of Vidyadhara mantra. Also, the "Fearsome Lightning" says: Bhikshu Bodhisattva and, Yogi, great yogi. Among them, the Pratimoksha precepts are for those who desire peace and happiness alone, for as long as they live.

In between, guarding any of the seven types of vows. The two vows of a Bodhisattva, in reality, are guarding the lineage with the discipline of vows. Accumulating virtuous Dharma to accomplish realization and extraordinary qualities. Benefiting sentient beings by helping others. The vows of a Vidyadhara accomplish great benefit for others and transform afflictions into wisdom. From the Kun Dus: Thus, the three vows, Great benefit for oneself and others. So it is. Vows are maintaining the nature of the three vajras without degeneration, focusing solely on benefiting others. Third, explaining how the three trainings are assembled without contradiction, divided into two: non-contradiction and the manner of assembly. First: Thus, the four root downfalls of a Hearer are the root to be guarded, and its branches are not drinking alcohol, etc. A Bodhisattva seems to contradict harming sentient beings and their branches, thinking it contradicts having the three vows complete. To show non-contradiction, divided into two, first is the manner of non-contradiction with the vows of individual liberation of a Hearer: Among them, regarding becoming a root downfall of killing, the basis is a human being, the intention is not mistaken from that, but to vehemently attempt to kill with anger, the actual deed is severing the life force with a weapon, etc., the aftermath is rejoicing, needing to have four qualities complete. Here, during the time of liberation, appearing as Hūṃ (Tibetan: ཧཱུྃ, Sanskrit Devanagari: हुं, Sanskrit Roman transliteration: hūṃ, Chinese literal meaning: Hūṃ), the essence is unborn, therefore not an ordinary being such as a human or animal, so the branch of the basis is not complete. Because of having compassion with the wish to be free from its suffering, and not having fierce killing intent, so the branch of intention is also not complete. Because there is no grasping of what is to be killed and what is killing, so there is no life, and no cutting of life, so the branch of the actual deed is also not complete. Because there is no rejoicing arising from anger, so the complete branch is also not complete, therefore there is no fault at all. Similarly, at the time of taking what is not given, it is also necessary for the basis to be property possessed by a human, here, because of realizing the meaning of no self and other, so it is for taking self-appearing property like a dream, and the intention needs to be the mind of stealing,

Moreover, there is no stealing with a playful mind, but rather taking possession after exchanging with the full real value. Even so, it is not complete, because it is non-dual like illusion and dream, so there is no elaboration, and post-meditation wisdom is needed, because there is no attachment to the obtainable and the obtainer. Regarding the defeat in impure conduct, it is necessary to have a woman, etc., as the basis, but here it is visualized as a deity; it is necessary to insert a jewel as a defiling object and penetrate the skin layer, but here the vajra and lotus are clearly visualized, so these two respective characteristics are incomplete; desiring to experience bliss with an undistorted mind, and knowing the three circles, therefore the aspect of intention is incomplete, so there is no fault. Regarding lying, it is necessary to transform the experience of others into other perceptions, and to say that one sees gods, etc., even though one has not seen them, etc., but here, knowing all dharmas to be like illusions, it is spoken as a means of benefiting others, so there is no fault. Similarly, drinking alcohol is also because it is transformed into nectar, so it is not contradictory to what is said to be unsuitable for enjoyment. In all these cases, it is necessary that one is a monk, the place is not distorted, the perception is not transformed into something else, etc., but here, because it is transformed into dwelling in the mandala of the deity, there is no contradiction with the Pratimoksha vows of the Shravakas. Secondly, there is also no contradiction with the Bodhisattva vows, because they are held by compassion with the intention to benefit others and by special means. Having these two is also permitted for Bodhisattvas, as it says in the Avatamsaka Sutra: "The deeds of a true sentient being are meaningful, This is the supreme training of the victorious sons, Just as great rain falls from the clouds, Making all crops flourish." Secondly, there are also two ways of gathering. The way of the Shravakas is mainly the vows to accomplish one's own benefit, and here the yogi gathers in the vows of the tantra in order to be liberated from his own suffering. At the time of killing, because there is no non-virtue such as anger in the mind, in order to restrain one's own self-characteristic defilements, the vow to abandon killing is also gathered. Similarly, the rest should also be applied, because the self-characteristic defilements are restrained, so it is the practice of skillful means.
