As previously shown, without inherent existence, manifesting within the nature of reality. Fourth, the mudras of the six Thupas (Sages) are diverse according to the capacity of those to be tamed, although they are not fixed as one, and their number is indefinite and limitless. However, if these types of mudras are briefly summarized, they can be gathered into six mudras. What are they? As it says in the Vajra Sutra: "Lute, armor, arrow, box. Know the scripture, fire, water." That is, from the six seed syllables, hold these mudras in your heart. Some might wonder, since these deities do not have consorts, is it not the union of skillful means and wisdom? Although there is no consort of appearance with an object of focus, the consort of the sphere without an object of focus is shown, therefore the consort is without any focus whatsoever, being the sphere of reality, free from the extremes of elaboration. Some believe that on the left side of the six Thupas are six Samantabhadri consorts, but this contradicts the fixed number of deities. Saying that they are gathered into Samantabhadri is also unreasonable, because during meditation, the deity of focus and the number of purity will be confused. Some, for the benefit of non-Buddhists, say, "The Buddha's consort is extremely secret," and therefore believe that the six Thupas do not have consorts, but this is the context of the Yoga Tantra, which is not the context here. Although the human Thupa has abandoned sensual pleasures, it is not said that the others have abandoned sensual pleasures, because the Nirmanakaya appears according to what tames each being. Therefore, the absence of an actual consort is due to the Emanation Body and the number of deities. Fifth, the mudra of Samantabhadra Father and Mother is: Samantabhadra, with his two hands in the gesture of equipoise, from the center of his palms showing the basis of radiance, in order to show the five wisdoms separately and clearly, rays of five colors radiating in the ten directions, and his legs in the vajra posture. His consort, Samantabhadri, has the mudra of equal perfection, being the same as the Father, and her two legs are in the lotus posture. Now, to summarize and explain all these terms: Thus, in addition to explaining the individual mudras, there are also various other mudras. When practicing each family separately, the mudras of these deities are also shown in one direction as the emblems of that family, such as the vajra, or the mudras of the five Tathagatas themselves, which are those previously shown.
