Sanpa is the direct perception of the divine ear, by which beings are tamed. For any sentient being to be tamed, the assembly of miraculous manifestations that demonstrate how to tame them is in accordance with the aspirations of beings, and constantly performs benefit and happiness. This is taming by the direct perception of miracles. The wisdom of the uncontaminated, which purifies all two obscurations together with their habitual tendencies into the sphere of reality, is ultimately perfect. The conduct of the inexhaustible ornaments of the body, speech, and mind of Samantabhadra is always complete. The nature of the uncontaminated exhaustion is the taming by direct perception. In this way, these six directly control all knowable objects, so they are the six great direct perceptions, which are taming by mind. The third is: For the infinite number of disciples to be tamed, the body that is in accordance with their appearance is always shown, such as Brahma, Indra, and the Wheel-Turning King, etc., which are inconceivable. For the immeasurable continuum of beings, the way in which they engage in accordance with their aspirations is always known, and the way in which they accomplish the meaning of their minds, such as their suchness and quantity, is inconceivable. For the realm of disciples to be tamed and the objects of experience that are different from their aspirations, the body and the attire of the body, and the mandala of the face, etc., are always shown in many different ways, such as peaceful and wrathful, and in every moment, the inconceivable face is shown in accordance with their own appearance, so that they think that (the guru) is in front of me because he is compassionate to me alone. As it says in the Great Mother Sutra: "Those sentient beings in Jambudvipa think that (the guru) is in front of us and teaches the Dharma for the sake of compassion." Thus it is said. From the Body Excellent Continent (Tibetan name for India) to the Cow Usage Continent, and even to Akanishta, it is said. As it says in the Buddha Samyoga Sutra: "Sometimes peaceful, sometimes fierce, sometimes great demons create obstacles." Such as these are infinitely supreme. Mountains and all beings are all. Thus it is said. As it says in the Good Arms Sutra: "Whose nature is free from attachment and aversion, yet shows attachment to those with attachment. For the sake of taming the wicked, he shows wrath to the wrathful. I prostrate to that guide of methods." Such as these. Similarly, those who show inconceivable faces in one body are (taming by mind).

However beings have their respective karma, in accordance with the language of each sentient being, the Dharma is proclaimed with inconceivable sounds, possessing such aspects. Like the endlessness of space, inconceivable various manifestations radiate, and with countless manifestations, beings are transformed and subdued in whatever way is appropriate in the ten directions. Fourth, subduing through the wisdom of speech, there are two aspects: the general meaning and the meaning of the text. The first part has two aspects: the meaning of the word and the classification. Firstly, from the sound of "yāna" comes "theg pa," which means that by relying on it, one travels, reaches the desired destination, and transports. As it is said in the Compendium: "This vehicle is like the sky, a great immeasurable mansion. It is the supreme vehicle that brings joy, happiness, and bliss. All sentient beings ride on it and transcend suffering." Secondly, there are two aspects: general classification and specific classification. Firstly, in general, in order to subdue the afflictions in the minds of sentient beings, the Buddha teaches according to what is appropriate for each individual through compassion. Therefore, the types of vehicles are definitely only this one, without cessation. As it is said in the Lankavatara Sutra: "To guide sentient beings, I have taught all vehicles. There is no specific one that is designated." Among them, if we temporarily summarize, considering the result, it is said to be one, as it is said in the Lotus Sutra: "There is only one vehicle, not two." As it is said in the Kunje: "Existence does not arise from anything other than one." Also, considering the cause and effect, it is said to be two. Considering the great and the small, it is said to be two, as it is said in the Glorious Four Elements Exhaustion Sutra: "For the sake of the cause, the Dharma, and the effect, there are two types of vehicles." As it is said in the Ye Drön: "Because there is the wisdom of great and small order, the number of vehicles is also the same. In summary, there are two types: great and small." Also, with the distinction of great, medium, and small, there are three: Hearers, Solitary Realizers, and the Great Vehicle. As it is said in the Ornament of the Sutras: "Through the application and accumulation, as well as intention and explanation, and the excellent distinctions of practice, it is considered that there are three types of vehicles."
