Do not be bound by the shackles of the present." "It is inherently so, without distraction or non-distraction. Holding onto the mind with hope and fear, the deluded mind clings to self-grasping without an object. Mind and mind-essence are not perceived as two, in the state of equality between emptiness and non-emptiness, whatever arises is inherently so. Do not engage in negation and affirmation, attachment and aversion towards it, but let it be as it appears." "In the Dharmakaya, pure like space, the various plays of appearances and mind are a great spectacle. Unborn, free from elaboration, yet possessing the miraculous power of birth. Do not defile it with discrimination, speculation, memory, and thought, but in the natural state, let whatever arises be a play." "Everything is the pervasiveness of Dharmata, do not accept or reject, but rest in Suchness." "Unmoving as it is, abide equally in Suchness. If there is no high or low inherently, that is the primordial place. Abide in Suchness, without discrimination, without beginning or end." "Effortless Dharmakaya, formless and invisible. Detachment, peace, insubstantiality, is Suchness. Actionless, the mind-essence of space, is not to be meditated upon. With realization and non-realization equal, abide as you are comfortable." "Those who enter without a path have a great disease, the poison of effort torments their minds. No matter how hard they try, it is the cause and effect of Samsara, and they can never reach the path of liberation. Accustoming the coarse mind to black and white, that is the desire realm, clinging to the heavens and the lower realms. The clear mind moistened by virtue, that is the form realm, propelling one into the four types of Samadhi. The non-discriminating mind is extremely unmoving, that is the formless realm, revolving in the four limits and so on. Who would modify and defile the true mind? No matter how it is modified, non-discrimination arises from it. There is no opportunity to escape from the state of existence. The three times are one, inherently great enlightenment. Like space, beyond thought, in the state of equal nature, even names are unattainable, incomparable, without characteristics. The wonderful and marvelous great play is complete on the ground, beyond words, inexpressible, spontaneously accomplished. Unattached, unmoving, the realm of pure nature, the indestructible victory banner, the vast sky, is the mind-essence of clear light, the essence of all. Without tightening or loosening, the ornaments of the assembly, non-dual and spontaneously present, are free from elaboration as they are. On the mind of effortless appearance and emptiness, it is impossible to point out this as the self-nature.

Rest. . As it is, emptiness, uncreated, in the state of Dharmakaya. Unthinking, the king of equality, spontaneously accomplished. The king is stainless, as it is, without rejection or acceptance. The original Buddha, in the state beyond cause and effect. Unborn, spontaneously perfect, the mind itself of the present moment. Whatever arises, without fabrication, is the meaning of seeing. It is the state of the Great Perfection of self-nature. Although the Dharma-nature is immovable and does not go beyond one, The Dharma-characteristics are unceasing, and all kinds are clearly distinct. Utterly pacified, unborn, pure like the sky, Unborn, as it is, wisdom without obscuration. All-pervading, impartial, supreme secret Great Perfection. In the self-nature where there is no basis or thing, There is no need to "accomplish" with actions and efforts. In the state of suchness, understand it as it is. The speech that proclaims the ocean of secrets. In the play of whatever arises, spontaneously perfect awareness, Without focusing on acceptance or rejection, primordially liberated and vast. Self-liberated awareness, naturally in the original state, Because the king of realization is utterly immovable, Play in the realm of the spontaneously vast great bindu. From the Great Perfection, equality, self-liberation, The chapter on liberation through realization of the ultimate basis is the first. Thus, in the state of great action of seeing and practice, When awareness is naturally relaxed as it is, Whatever arises is self-liberated, the state is clear like the ocean. Without meditation, without distraction, thought is complete, free from grasping. Self-born awareness, without fabrication, is The meditation of self-nature, primordially pure. In the Dharma-nature of equality between realization and non-realization, Without being defiled by the bondage of meditation and mind-holding, Leave it in the original state where letting go and abiding are inseparable. Without scattering, without gathering, without meditating, in ordinariness, Naturally abiding awareness, equally perfect, uncompounded. Because there is a definite understanding that there is no meditation and no non-meditation, In the state of suchness, relax naturally as it is. Generation stage, completion stage, samadhi, bliss-clarity-non-thought, etc., Even the non-thinking wisdom that is made by conceptual mind, Is itself a habit, merely the cause and effect of existence. With characteristics and grasping at characteristics, utterly pacified like the sky, Passing through the birth-place of the upper realms, samsara is accomplished. In whom there is no karma and no habit, Without meditating on samadhi, beyond conceptual thought, From that there is no existence, no suffering of existence. Unborn, dust-free, without characteristics, without aspiration. Not seeking, self-abiding, is the king of meditation, In the state of suchness, there is not the slightest movement.
