Look upon that very clarity! Herein lies the essence of the guru's instructions, The sky of dharmata's meaning, without limit or center. Without depending on the path of cause and effect, generation and completion, The mind itself, the king, spontaneously perfects qualities. The samadhi of abandoning attachment and hope, The essence of mind itself, unseen, beyond thought. With the proliferation of various elaborations, The original state is unseen, beyond the mind. With the jewels of the ocean of various methods, The suchness itself is never seen as it is. If you are free from clinging and doubt, then today, You will see where it is, but there is no seeing. To think that you can improve on this by doing something else Is to delude yourself. Doubt and hesitation obscure yourself. The various categories of dharma are one in meaning, The essence of mind itself is unmade, genuine, The three kayas are the field, the teacher is in the assembly, The teaching is the nature of the five perfections, Knowing this, abide naturally, without fabrication. The mind that plays with past, present, and future, samsara and nirvana, Is the essence of abiding as one, The essence, spontaneously vast, enlightenment, is just that. Primordially enlightened, it is the dharmata of the present. The arising of the realization of unmade, primordially pure, Cannot be shown by various symbols. Words and letters only serve to understand it. The mind that has reached the peak of the various vehicles, For the sake of realizing the union of bodhicitta, It is said that all are one essence, without separation. This is the essence of all definitive secrets, Therein, the suchness of mind is seen. Those of bad fortune will never realize it, Like showing images to a blind person. How can symbols, interdependence, and methods be understood? For those of good fortune, like a lotus in the sun, Through the kindness of the guru, realization arises from within. In the equality of one's own nature in the three times, Leave dharma and dharmata unthought, as they are. Since the nature of primordial enlightenment is completely pure, Do not be bound by sudden attachment, play as you wish! In the state of equality of dharma, dharmas, and dharmata, Whatever arises is the play of self-born awareness, May it be self-liberated, may it be free from fabrication and error! From the play of the unmade dharmakaya of mind itself, Without distraction, the meditation, with the peg of holding, Do not gather into one, realization and non-realization are equal. Good and bad, loss and gain, not even a speck of dust is perceived,
