Therefore, from the Uttaratantra: "The ultimate truth of the self-arisen is realized only through faith. The sun's orb blazing with light is not seen by those without eyes." Like that. Those who are without hearing and those who, though having heard, are deceived by constant conceptualization, it is said that they do not have the realization of suchness in this present life. They do not know the words, nor do they understand the meaning. How can they not see the sun of goodness? Therefore, other foolish beings are like parrots reciting scriptures, filled with pride. They do not see the essential meaning because of the net of conceptualization. Not knowing that, it is like a blind person measuring an elephant. There is no time for realization, they hold conceptual mind to be true. Alas, how extremely unfortunate and foolish! Never hope for the essential meaning. Those who were previously devoid of the wealth of good teachings, and who here have become supremely foolish in their intellect, and those like parrots who cling to the net of conceptualization as the real meaning, do not have the fortune to see the meaning of the mind's own luminosity. One is because they foolishly meditate, clinging to conceptual mind as the real meaning, and the other is because they have fallen to the extreme of clinging to conceptual mind. The great teacher Garab Dorje said: "The view of clinging to conceptual mind is confusion. The meditation based on that is despair. The hope for results from that is also delusion." As it is said. Praising one's own side with reason and the realization of suchness: Here, the wisdom of the mind itself is the holy wisdom. The guru's pointing out is the direct experience of self-knowing wisdom. If one leaves one's own mind without fabrication, it arises. If there is no hope, fear, clinging, or attachment, it manifests. If emptiness and clarity are without beginning or end, it is good and also manifests. Therefore, having the blessings of the lineage, being held by the holy guru is supremely precious. Although one's own wisdom abides in signs, one does not know it. When the guru points it out, it is seen manifestly and determined. Afterwards, it arises simply by leaving the nature of the mind as it is. At that time, although it appears as objects and mind, it manifests in the nature of non-clinging. When awareness, empty and clear, is spread out openly and arises naturally, it is even clearer than before. This manifestation arises from the kindness of the holy guru. Therefore, it is only important to meet a lineage and a guru who are extremely good. Saraha said: Therefore,

It arises from the five blessings endowed with the lineage. That too should be definitely understood through the power of the venerable one. Thus it is said. In the Kunje Gyalpo Tantra, it says: The teacher who is separate from self and others is a treasure of jewels. That king of medicine should be relied upon with unwavering reverence. Thus it is said. In the Compendium, it says: One should always rely on wise lamas. Why? Because the qualities of the wise arise from that. Thus it is. How to meditate on the path: Meditating without distraction on the meaning of reality, the preliminaries as before, in the yoga of the lama, praying to be able to master illusion, the main practice is: The mind is of the nature of illusion, this appearance to the mind is also like illusion in nature. Having decided that everything is unborn and like illusion, the mind should be placed free from agitation by mindfulness. Having meditated on the yoga of the lama, pray to make all phenomena appear like illusion, and after praying like that, in the state of knowing that the mind and all the phenomena appearing to the mind are like illusion, one should not do any recollection or conceptualization, but remain. At that time, by abiding in the state of emptiness and clarity, free from elaboration, one is free from movement, grasping and clinging. Clear and bright light appears like an illusion. The field of appearance is uninterrupted, and there is no clinging, alteration, or adulteration there. Sallery, Seng-nge, unscattered, naturally blissful. Clear and non-conceptual, a mind like the sky, seeing the nature of being free from elaboration. At that time, since all phenomena are like illusion, the appearance of wisdom is also liberated like illusion. Attachment, hatred, hope, doubt, and self-grasping are like illusion. It is the liberation of the ground, the liberation of the path, and the liberation of the result. All the movements of the mind, which are like illusion, subside, and that state of not clinging to illusion is the wisdom that is free from movement, grasping, and clinging. Therefore, although the field of appearance appears, there is no examination of clinging to it. Since the object and the subject are free from all permanent grasping and clinging there, the awareness is clear, and all appearances are self-appearing as clear and empty, without clinging, so it is like illusion. The awareness of Sallery, because it abides in the state of recognizing itself as self-luminous, the natural time of bodily and mental bliss is the clear light like the sky, seeing the nature of being free from the extremes of elaboration. At that time, since everything that appears as phenomena appears like illusion, clinging to phenomena is naturally liberated. Since there is no five poisons and no hope or doubt, the antidote to them is the ground, path, and result.
