Furthermore, as Nagarjuna said, "Because of the nature of how it appears, no analysis is applied to this." It is like that. The way that samsara, like an echo, arises from dependent origination and is established only as an image is: The original mind-essence is like the sky, wish-fulfilling, and from the stainless qualities of spontaneous perfection, the nature of beings and existence arises from conceptual ignorance. Wandering here like an echo, the six realms appear due to the power of their own habitual tendencies. They enter due to the power of the mind's defilements intensely entering. The original nature of the mind-essence, in the realm like the sky, abides spontaneously perfected like a jewel of qualities. From that state, co-emergent and conceptual ignorance arise as mere conditions, accumulating the habitual tendencies of grasping and fixation. Wandering here in this samsara like an echo, the appearances of the six realms appear due to the power of various habitual tendencies. Passing from one existence to another is due to the mind's defilements. By the similarity of merit, one enters the higher realms, and by non-virtue, one enters the lower realms. As it says in the Ratnakuta Sutra, "Whatever is turned from one to another by the karma of merit and non-merit becomes afflicted." And in the Sutra of the Exposition of the Abode of the Noble One, it also says, "The various worlds are born from karma, and karma is born from the minds of heroes." So it is. Showing emptiness from the very moment of deluded appearance: Even so, this deluded appearance of sentient beings' minds is of a nature that is without basis or root. Emaho! This wish-fulfilling appearance is truly laughable. By grasping at meaninglessness as meaningful, the appearance of meaning, like the sound of an echo, what is the point of clinging to this as true? Whatever it is, rest in that state of utter non-reliance, all at once. May the momentary appearances be liberated into the great absence of truth. It is delightful because there is no expanse or contraction, high or low. Just as it appears, by realizing that it is of a nature without basis or root, it arises as a play of great, unattached expanse. Because there is no expanse or contraction, high or low, and because it is even and balanced in the realm of dharmata, the mind is at ease. How is it even? On the appearance of whatever arises, the special clinging disappears, and appearances like echoes arise, affirming and negating. Because whatever it is is liberated without grasping or reliance, it is without any partiality, all at once. On the appearance of a mind free from doubt, the appearance of objects is like an echo.

When the manifestation of consciousness arises, in order to be liberated from not knowing what it is, one rests in the naturally pure expanse of non-reality, settling into a relaxed state. At that time, such a great illusory experience arises: Haha, look, the illusion is so funny! The essence is unrecognizable, and no taxes need to be paid. Profound and false, vague and fleeting, disappearing without a trace, without substance. Without attachment, yet various phenomena appear. When the root of the inner mind is severed, the clinging to external objects is naturally liberated. The appearance without the change of time is the vision of a yogi. All appearances of objects are unrecognizable, so no taxes need to be paid. Without essence, it is profound but not real. Appearing as non-existent, it is vague but not definite. Because attachment disappears, there is no substance. Because there is no grasping, it appears as uncertain. As the Lion's Perfect Strength says: Seeing the truth of Dharma-nature, one is the son of the Victorious One. When realization is comprehended, one is always happy. So it is said. At that time, regarding the different levels of attachment to the appearances of various dharmas, it is also like this: The unwise are attached to reality, seeming real and also real. For the yogi of non-reality, there is equality and oneness. Those who cling to impermanence as permanence, seeming permanent and also permanent. The clinging to permanence is naturally liberated, emptiness and form are one. Vast and boundless, without limitations, the experience is joyful. The objects in samsara that appear as real and also real, for the yogi, manifest as non-reality, equal and one. For those who cling to permanence, it appears as always existing, seeming permanent and also permanent. For the yogi, there arises the self-radiance of emptiness, without manifestation, without limitations or partiality, the Dharma-nature is relaxed and uninterrupted, and the mind is at ease. As it says in the "Six Spaces": For all phenomena that appear as self-nature, sound, words, and objects are self-purifying. Without object, without support, this is called intention. Thus taught Samantabhadra. This is the time to practice the path, which is to familiarize oneself with the meaning of realization. The preliminary practice is as before, praying to the sound and image. The main practice is that all dharmas are like sound and echo. At the moment of sound, there is no grasping. All that appears should be meditated upon in the same way. After meditating on the Guru Yoga as before, pray that all dharmas may be accomplished as non-reality like an echo, and pray from the depths of your heart. The main practice is to meditate on all the phenomena of appearance and sound as appearing like an echo but without essence. In particular, all praise and blame, pleasant and unpleasant, are empty due to sound, and the essence is unrecognizable. To this, the mind
