I, clear awareness, free from elaboration, manifest in all actions, therefore, merge into the luminosity of simultaneous and subsequent awareness. Seeing the dust particles of the body, accomplishing the eye and clairvoyance. Ultimately accomplishing the Dharmakaya. In the Heap of Jewels Sutra, it says: "Habituated to no self-nature, quickly attain unsurpassed Bodhi." May all phenomena that are primordially pure in their self-nature be realized as illusory like a reflection of the moon in water. Simultaneously, by crossing the ocean of attachment to grasping and grasper, may I reach the precious island of liberation. Generating the power of realization that possesses all supreme qualities, by drawing the strong bow of Samadhi and shooting the arrow of wisdom, just as ignorance and afflictions are uprooted, may I be victorious in the battlefield of Samsara without exception. May the white Dharma virtues, like the moon holding a rabbit, pervade the minds of all beings without exception, so that the night of existence is free from the darkness of delusion, and may the flowers of Dharmata bloom like the Kunda flower. From the Great Perfection, Illusion's Repose, the chapter like the moon in water is the commentary on the fifth Vajra place. Thus, after all phenomena have been established in the nature of non-cessation. Now, to show the nature of impermanence. Again, this is said by the Victorious Ones to be like an echo. The meaning of what is said is also clearly explained, please listen. All phenomena, from the time they appear as echoes, have no self-nature. They are liberated from the aspect of being constant and permanent, and because they are inexpressible, they are like the appearance of an echo because they have no substance. In the Intermediate Mother Sutra, it says: "Subhuti, all phenomena are like echoes because they are impermanent by nature." The meaning of this is also explained from the three divisions of ground, path, and result. First, establishing the ground: Just as people living near a rocky mountain produce echoes as they speak, similarly, all phenomena arise from causes and conditions and have no self-nature, one should be certain that they are empty. Near a rocky mountain, when people make sounds, how the sounds produce echoes, but the sounds do not exist either internally or externally. Similarly, from the nature of the primordial ground, emptiness, clarity, and no self-nature, caused by co-emergent and associated ignorance, various illusions arise from the self-sound of the ground appearance, which do not exist anywhere other than awareness, but appear, therefore Samsara appears like an echo.

Ah! In reality, there is nothing other than what appears clearly. As it is said in the Samadhiraja Sutra: Just as people gather near a rocky mountain, singing, speaking, laughing, and crying, and an echo arises depending on the circumstances, but the tone in the sound never moves. All dharmas should be realized in the same way. Therefore, appearing without inherent existence shows that it transcends extremes. Just as when an echo sounds, the tone of the echo cannot be found in the outer, inner, or intermediate realms, similarly, after examining all outer and inner dharmas with wisdom, all the dharmas that appear from the mind and from within the mind cannot be found to even have the form of an echo. Like the sky, they are empty and completely devoid of substance. If one understands this way, there will be no clinging to anything. The tone of the echo is not in the rock, nor in the person, nor in between them, but appears as if it exists due to conditions. When all the coarse aspects of external phenomena and internal thoughts of the mind are analyzed by parts, and the subtle aspects are analyzed for their essence, characteristics, shape, and color, nothing at all can be found. Like the sky, it transcends thought and expression. In the Two Truths it says: This object that appears, if analyzed with wisdom, nothing is found. Not finding it is itself the ultimate truth, the nature of reality that has always been. Showing that the emptiness of nature transcends the mind: In relative appearance, the ultimate is not observed, and holding onto the two aspects is also a distinction of the mind. Just as at the time of appearance, it already transcends the mind. The root of elaboration constructed by the mind is one's own mind, and it does not increase or decrease in that place. Do not be caught in the net of concepts, there are no characteristics. Knowing this, go beyond the shore of elaboration. Therefore, saying that things exist conventionally but not ultimately, this holding onto the two aspects is also not reasonable because dharmas do not exist in their own time, it is merely a conceptual distinction of the mind, and it does not exist on top of appearance, which is clearly evident. And, from the time of realizing that nothing exists, small objects do not disappear. This is how the mind analyzes it. Even if the mind analyzes emptiness, it is only a part of one's own conceptualization, not true emptiness. This is the teaching of the Prasangika Madhyamaka: At the time of appearance, abandoning all assertions, one should know that this is the only true Madhyamaka.
