Since the three paths of learning between the two are not focused on, it is also the Perfection of Wisdom. In the Ornament of Realization, it says: Not on this shore, not on the far shore, not dwelling in between them, in order to know the equality of all times, it is called the Perfection of Wisdom. Thus it is. The way to perfect view is: To abide in such a state, with the great ship of ungrasping vast samadhi, having crossed the ocean of the three realms of existence, ease does not constantly arise on the peace, having gone to the state of great perfection of self-nature. Abiding in the state of realizing the meaning of the vast view, like a ship crossing the ocean of proliferation of samsara, the ground is originally without proliferation. At that time, the mind is mixed with non-proliferation, and the state of great perfection is named as the two inseparable realms of wisdom, so it is said to have reached there. The meaning of spontaneous and unmade, the realization of all completeness arises. In the All-Creating King, it says: Alas! Therefore, the All-Creating One, I have prophesied, do not mistake the meaning of hearing, but be firm. With the activity of being free from all actions and searches, the realization of all completeness of the unmade meaning arises. Thus it is. The characteristics of calm abiding and insight are identified as: When abiding in such equanimity, the mind is neither scattered nor gathered, but remains relaxed. Because of abiding, calm abiding is the emptiness of the Dharmakaya. Because of clarity, insight is the appearance of the Rupakaya. The two accumulations of skillful means and wisdom are generated and perfected. Also, because of abiding, the aspect of non-conceptual emptiness is the cause of the calm abiding Dharmakaya, the accumulation of wisdom is the order of perfecting wisdom. Because of clarity, the aspect of appearance is the cause of the insight Rupakaya, the accumulation of merit is spontaneously accomplished in the order of generating skillful means. At that time, the absence of focus is also the perfection of the six meanings. In the Sutra Requested by Brahma's Special Mind, it says: Non-grasping is generosity, non-guarding is morality, non-abiding is patience, non-exertion is diligence, non-thinking is meditation, non-focusing is wisdom. Thus it is. Also, practicing the six perfections such as generosity, if one abides in them, one has not reached the other shore of them. If one transcends all the Bodhisattvas of them, then one becomes one who has reached the other shore. At that time, the morality of meaning is also perfected. In the Sutra Requested by the Son of God, Intelligence Supreme,

Moreover, not distinguishing between keeping vows and breaking vows is the perfection of discipline. The two accumulations are also complete. The Sutra of the Ten Wheels of Ksitigarbha says, "Not distinguishing in this is the accumulation of merit and wisdom." Also, the Holy Wisdom Sutra says: Bodhisattva Wisdom Peak asked, "Blessed One, how do yogis accumulate accumulations?" The Blessed One replied, "Accumulations are merit and wisdom, and accumulation is to increase them." Asked, "How is the accumulation of merit?" The Blessed One replied, "Giving and so on, white dharmas with characteristics." Asked, "What is the accumulation of wisdom?" The Blessed One replied, "Wisdom and so on, dharmas without characteristics." Asked, "How are these two accumulated?" The Blessed One replied, "The accumulation of merit is called the accumulation of samsara, like the water in a cow's hoofprint. Why? Because it is quickly destroyed, exhausted, deceives children, and after experiencing the happiness of gods and humans, falls back into the lower realms. The accumulation of wisdom is called the accumulation of nirvana, like the water of the great ocean, which is not destroyed, not exhausted, does not deceive, and enables the attainment of nirvana. Wisdom Peak, one should only accumulate the accumulation of wisdom." This is also transforming the favorable conditions for merit into favorable conditions for liberation, and it is the meditator who focuses primarily on meditation. The functions of calm abiding and insight are: Furthermore, having generated the wisdom of insight's realization, one abides in that state with calm abiding. Again, familiarizing oneself with the meaning previously realized by insight depends on calm abiding, so one must definitely strive to accomplish union. Having become accustomed in this way, the time of realizing the absence of focus is: How is it? At the time of equipoise, when the aspects of the mind do not abide in the grasping and the grasped, whether real or unreal, at that time, the realm of reality and wisdom are non-dual, and the mind and mental factors are pacified without focus. Furthermore, when meditating on the true meaning, realizing that the grasping and the grasped, things and non-things, are without inherent nature, this is the insight to be done first. Having realized in this way, abiding in a state where the aspects of the mind do not arise is the calm abiding to be done later, the realm of reality and wisdom are non-dual.
