From the Golden Garland: Just as water merges into water, Mind and mind-essence are non-dual. Thus it is said. Examples showing conceptualization and non-conceptualization: Again, for example, Just as various dreams are in the state of sleep, Likewise, in the state of acting without acceptance or rejection. Just as the ocean and waves are in the state of water, Likewise, conceptualization and non-conceptualization are in the state of equality. Just as one does not move from the state of sleep in a dream, All acceptance and rejection are of one taste in the state of non-duality. That is, From that itself: In the expanse of dream sleep, it is clear, All phenomena are empty, non-dual, clear. Thus it is said. Just as the waves, together with the essence of water, are not other than water, The equality of conceptualization and non-conceptualization is: In the Dohā it says: As long as it arises from the mind, That long is the nature of the protector. Are water and waves different? Thus it is said. Examples showing hope and fear: Again, for example, Just as a merchant is in a state of happiness when his goals are achieved, Likewise, in the state of fruition without hope or fear. Everything is in the state of the Great Perfection, all at once, One should know the nature of the all-pervading space. Just as one feels happy when the mind is free from hope and fear after certainty, Likewise, one feels happy in that state after determining that the Buddha is in one's own mind. That is, From that itself: When the elephant is tamed and the mind is disciplined, There, going and coming are cut off, and there is peace. If one realizes this, there is nowhere to ask. Thus it is said. Moreover, since everything is complete in this state of self-arisen wisdom of mind-essence, without acceptance or rejection, one should be liberated from the notions of searching for things and clinging to signs. From the Kunje Gyalpo Tantra: In this, there is nothing that is not complete. One complete, two complete, all complete, Therefore, actions are easily accomplished. One complete is complete in the mind of enlightenment, Two complete is complete in what is done by the mind, All complete is complete in perfect accomplishment. With this teaching of completion in one, The Buddha's intention abides in this. With this meaning of all complete, Everything becomes perfectly accomplished. Whoever abides in this doing and acting, This body, whether person, god, or human, The intention is the Dharma-nature Buddha. Having benefited sentient beings with this, One abides in ease without effort or striving. Thus it is said. The third general meaning is the dedication of merit of the occasion: Now, dedicating these merits to sentient beings: The way: Thus, with various non-dual one taste, All beings, self and other

Having been liberated from ignorance, in this confused existence of clinging to "this," may the weary mind rest today. With that incomparable, exceedingly rare, stainless merit, as vast as the sky and non-dual, may all beings, liberated from the confused cycle of clinging to duality for a long time, the rays of a hundred blessings shine in the land and the heavenly realms, and may they rest in the flower garden of the Buddha Bhagavan. May the heavens, the earth, and the sky be adorned, born from the red light pedestal, may all beings smoothly go to the assembly of the noble ones, and be endowed with vast treasures of wealth. May the scenery of the mountain top forest be delightful, where herbs abound, flowers bloom, and waterfalls splash, may this life of mine be spent meaningfully, and may the supreme qualities of liberation be accomplished. As the moon's waist is adorned with clouds, as the pure white water lilies bloom, may the light of the auspicious and peaceful rabbit-holder (moon) become the basis of sustenance for all beings. From the Great Perfection Mind at Rest, the chapter on skillful means, a branch of practicing Samadhi, the twelfth commentary. From the Ancestral Heritage, the Collected Works of Longchen Rabjam (21), Great Perfection Mind at Rest Commentary Great Chariot, Lower Volume.
