Those who have stability are liberated at that time. That is also because the moments of clear light are the days and nights of meditation. Now, abiding in samadhi, how long the clarity and purity between the arising of the later thought and the cessation of the former thought can be maintained, the moment of bardo and the stages of meditation are also the same. Therefore, it is crucial to have greater stability right now. If one does not recognize it then, in the bardo of existence, when the appearances of the first half appear like a dream, and the appearances of the place and environment of the second half appear, the best recognize that there is no inherent existence, the middling meditate on the generation and completion stages as illusion, and the lowest turn away from the fear of the bardo by taking refuge and so on, and are born in the higher realms, and it is said that they will be liberated in the future. Together with the rest, the way to traverse the path with the four aspects of clear light has been explained. For those of the lowest faculties, there are three ways to accomplish the Vidyadhara by practicing the method of establishing the stages of meditation. The stages of meditation also have three: brief instruction, shamatha and vipashyana. The brief instruction is: Now, the stages of meditation for those of the lowest faculties are also, first practice shamatha and vipashyana separately, and after becoming stable, meditate on the union of non-duality. That also requires learning immeasurable methods. In terms of shamatha, there are also three, of which, the instruction on subduing conceptual thoughts is: How is it? The stages of seeking shamatha are: In a secluded place, sit well on a cushion, and with the color and number of breaths, subdue conceptual thoughts and abide for several days. That is also a place without the thorns of meditation, without the harm of beings, without noise and clamor, etc., where the mind can be naturally held, sit comfortably on a cushion, sit in the lotus position, cover the hands on the knees, visualize the three channels clearly, exhale from the white Roma channel's right nostril, and like smoke coming out of a sauna, all diseases, evil spirits, sins, and obscurations are purified. When inhaling, visualize the samadhi of the Buddhas and so on transforming into light, entering the red Jiangma channel from the left nostril, dissolving into the central channel, and hold the breath for a moment, joining the upper and lower breaths. Then slowly exhale as before, and hold a little of the remaining breath. The color of the breath is, in the three months of spring, when the earth, wind, and phlegm are turbid, to counteract it, the color of the breath is green wind. In the three months of summer, to dispel the heat of fire, it is white water vapor. In the three months of autumn

To eliminate the disturbance of bile, contemplate the yellow earth wind. To counteract the cold of the three winters, contemplate the red fire wind. The shape is, in the heart, contemplate the essence of wind-mind like a bow, and triangles, circles, and squares, and having the corresponding tactile sensation. The number is to do with the mind, up to seven compartments. That is, the beginner exhales the wind from the nostrils, starting from four cubits, gradually increasing and lengthening, up to three thousand worlds, etc. Do not let the mind wander to anything else. When the elements gather, do not let them remain inside, but shoot them out with a strong "Ha" sound, and when joy and faith arise in the mind, keep them inside. That is, by practicing the wind for a few days, the mind becomes clear and bright, and still abiding arises without any thought, at that time the coarse wind no longer flows, and when the mind has no thoughts, then the essence of the life force, the red and white parts of the sun and moon, do not move, and the wind channel does not flow within it, because it dwells in the non-thinking state in the central channel, so the co-emergent wisdom is recognized. The Doha says: Where wind and mind do not flow, the sun and moon do not enter, the ignorant exhale the mind in that place. Focusing on one point is: From then on, the coarse discriminations are suppressed, and the aftermath of such practice. From then on, on any virtuous object of love, etc., the four and the two minds, as well as the generation stage and painted Buddha statues, scriptures, etc., focus on one point, and abide equally without distraction. That is, practice the four immeasurables such as love, or the two of aspiration and entry. The Bodhisattvacharyavatara says: When discriminations are pacified, one should contemplate the Bodhicitta. Or the generation stage, or scriptures, or paintings, etc., hold the mind on the body of the deity. The Samadhiraja Sutra says: With a body like the color of gold, the protector of the world is completely beautiful in every way, whoever's mind enters this object, that Bodhisattva is in equanimity. In short, because one has not been accustomed to the objectless from before, contemplate without distraction on any virtuous object, the Ornament of the Sutras says: Focus the mind on the object, do not let it continuously wander.", "original_tibetan": "ཞི་གནས་ཀྱི་ཏིང་འཛིན།", "chinese_translation": "止的禅定。", "english_translation": "The Samadhi of Tranquility.
