Some gods and humans, after death, will fall into evil realms. Those fools will experience suffering after death. Therefore, those with hundreds of sufferings are like dogs chasing stones, as the Tathagata (Sanskrit, Devanāgarī: तथागत, Roman transliteration: tathāgata, literal meaning: one who has come thus) said. Light Protector (Sanskrit, Devanāgarī: अवलोकितेश्वर, Roman transliteration: Avalokiteśvara, literal meaning: The Lord Who Looks Down) said. In the future, monks who are practitioners of yoga will not be like dogs chasing stones. For example, if a stone is thrown at a lion, it knows where the stone came from, so it does not chase the stone, but chases the one who threw the stone, so that no more stones will appear later. Similarly, when a monk who is a practitioner of yoga sees external qualities of desire, he knows that they arise from the mind, so he examines the mind, knows that they have no substance, and thus attains liberation. To this, it is said: Just as a lion eats a person, a monk who is a practitioner of yoga, if he sees external qualities of desire, knows that they arise from the mind, and through knowing the mind itself to be empty, he will be liberated from yoga. Light Protector (Sanskrit, Devanāgarī: अवलोकितेश्वर, Roman transliteration: Avalokiteśvara, literal meaning: The Lord Who Looks Down) said. For example, one skilled in taming horses will ride that horse wherever it moves and is not yet tamed. Light Protector (Sanskrit, Devanāgarī: अवलोकितेश्वर, Roman transliteration: Avalokiteśvara, literal meaning: The Lord Who Looks Down) said. Similarly, a monk who is a practitioner of yoga, wherever he sees the mind changing, engages in the corresponding practice, so that the mind does not become disturbed, and thus he tames the mind. To this, it is said: For example, one skilled in taming horses tames it in a calm and unmoving manner. The practitioner of yoga also, seeing the mind changing, tames it in such a way that it will not be disturbed later. Light Protector (Sanskrit, Devanāgarī: अवलोकितेश्वर, Roman transliteration: Avalokiteśvara, literal meaning: The Lord Who Looks Down) said. For example, a hidden disease, through Lāhora, causes the loss of vitality. Light Protector (Sanskrit, Devanāgarī: अवलोकितेश्वर, Roman transliteration: Avalokiteśvara, literal meaning: The Lord Who Looks Down) said. Similarly, among all views, clinging to self causes the loss of the vitality of the Dharma. To this, it is said: For example, Lāhora harms vitality and does not give happiness. Similarly, among all views, the view of clinging to self completely destroys the life of the Dharma. Light Protector (Sanskrit, Devanāgarī: अवलोकितेश्वर, Roman transliteration: Avalokiteśvara, literal meaning: The Lord Who Looks Down) said. To this, it is said: For example, a person should be freed from wherever he is bound. Light Protector (Sanskrit, Devanāgarī: अवलोकितेश्वर, Roman transliteration: Avalokiteśvara, literal meaning: The Lord Who Looks Down) said. Similarly, the mind of a practitioner of yoga, whatever it is attached to, should be freed from that thing. That

This is said as follows: for example, wherever a person is bound, they should be liberated from that very place. Similarly, wherever the mind's delusion is attached, the yogi should be liberated from that very place. Thus it is said. This is the secret of the mind itself, as the Bodhisattvacharyavatara says: If one does not know this secret of the mind, they wander meaninglessly in vain. Thus it is said. Showing that the mind appearing to the six consciousnesses is without substance, that is, the mind which appears to the six consciousnesses in relation to objects has no inherent nature in its appearance. It cannot be found by searching, nor seen by looking. It has no color or shape, no essence to grasp, no inside or outside, no arising or ceasing in the three times, no direction or category, no fundamental substance. This cannot be pointed out, it is a mind beyond conception. Thus it is said. If one looks at the mind with the mind, knowing that there is no essence to grasp anywhere, this is knowing the innate suchness. As the Doha says: The root of the mind cannot be pointed out, by the three co-emergent ones. From where does it arise, where does it set, where does it abide, it is not known. Thus it is said. And, if one does not know the holy Soma and the other one, from where does it arise and where does it set? How is it outside, how is it inside? Thus it is said. In the nature of the sky, which is pure from the beginning, looking and looking again, seeing will cease. Such a state will cease in time. Thus it is said. That is also the state beyond all aims, thoughts, and elaborations. The Sutra of the Noble Jewel Source says: Whatever dharma has no birth and no arising, no death, no transmigration, and does not change to happiness, the lion among men has shown it, and hundreds of thousands of sentient beings are placed in it. Whatever has no self-nature in anything, is not other, and cannot be found by anyone, not within, nor without, the protector has placed those who cannot be found in it. Although the Sugata spoke of the peaceful going, no going can be found. He clearly stated that they are liberated from all goings. After liberation, he liberated many sentient beings. He showed that all dharmas are without self, and the world is liberated from the clinging to sentient beings. He himself is liberated from all goings and liberates all goings, and although he has gone to the other shore, there is no crossing over. The great sage has gone to the other shore of existence, but no other shore can be found. There is an other shore.
