Also, there is no object of focus. Meditate in this way. Moreover, it is to manifest the interdependent origination of the Form Body arising from the Dharmakaya, and all generation stages from this point onwards are encompassed by the Great Perfection of Primordial Emptiness, thus there is a need to be liberated from the knots of attachment to things and characteristics. As the Lamrim states: 'Because of emptiness, all paths are without characteristics, liberating the attachment of self-grasping.' So it is. Thereafter, in order to untie the knot of attachment to emptiness as an extreme, meditate on the Samadhi of universal appearance, that is, in the state where all phenomena appear but are without inherent existence, like compassionate illusion, the self-aware, self-arising wisdom is clear and without grasping, also meditate briefly. Therein it says: 'By familiarizing oneself with the self-aware king, this supreme Bodhi will be attained, therefore, after seeing, suchness, establish as the basis for the arising of compassion, the arising of the order is also certain in this way.' So it is. Thereafter, in the Samadhi of the cause, there are two, of which the preliminary is the protection wheel. That is, from (Tibetan: ཧཱུྃ,Sanskrit Devanagari: हुं,Sanskrit Romanization: hūṃ,Literal Meaning: Hum), in all the boundless expanse of the sky, in the realm of blazing flames, from (Tibetan: བྷྲཱུྃ་,Sanskrit Devanagari: भ्रूं,Sanskrit Romanization: bhrūṃ,Literal Meaning: Bhrum), the wheel has ten spokes, complete with rim and center, its interior is empty, the ten spokes equal to the Dharmadhatu, the lotus and sun and moon marked with ten (Tibetan: ཧཱུྃ,Sanskrit Devanagari: हुं,Sanskrit Romanization: hūṃ,Literal Meaning: Hum) syllables are completely transformed. Above is (Tibetan: ཧཱུྃ,Sanskrit Devanagari: हुं,Sanskrit Romanization: hūṃ,Literal Meaning: Hum) Ka ra, in the east is Nampar Gyalwa, in the southeast is Blue Staff, in the south is Yamantaka, in the southwest is Achala, in the west is Hayagriva, in the northwest is Aparajita, in the north is Amrita Kundali, in the northeast is Trailokyavijaya. Below are the powerful ones, all with one face and two arms, adorned with all the ornaments of tigers and snakes, the right leg bent and the left extended, the hand gestures representing their respective families, or holding vajra and bell. The two wrathful deities above and below are of the Tathagata family, therefore blue holding a wheel. The eastern and southeastern ones are of the Vajra family, therefore black and white vajras. The southern and southwestern ones are of the Ratna family, therefore yellow and black jewels. The western and northwestern ones are of the Padma family, therefore red and black eight-petaled lotuses. The northern and northeastern ones are of the Karma family, therefore green and black crossed vajras or holding swords. In detail, they have three faces and six arms, complete with consorts, six legs with the seats of the ten direction protectors, each possessing the hand gestures of the five families.
