Ema! In the Great Arrangement, it says: To slander the Dharma of one's own or another's school, is a perverse path. If one transgresses the root vows, one will endure the suffering of fire on earth, for a long time. To generate wrong views towards one's own school, there is no escape from hell. Thus it is said. Regarding the three within the mind: Outward conduct, Inward meditation, Secretly abandoning wrong views. In the Tantra of the Stacked Crystal Palace, it says: Wrong views, meditation, and conduct, this is a great perverse path. Whatever suffering all sentient beings have, will surely ripen in the mind of this person. Thus it is said. Regarding the three secrets: Outwardly, not keeping view, meditation, and conduct in mind; Inwardly, not keeping the Yidam deity in mind; Secretly, not keeping the Guru and Vajra siblings in mind. In Padma Klong Yangs, it says: Whose mind is entangled by karma, towards the Dharmas that should be kept in mind, not keeping them in mind and declining, and the end of past and ruined karma, will experience the suffering of Avici hell. Thus it is said. These too, each should replenish the diminished parts, confess, and strive in the Sakya tradition. The root vows have been taught. Secondly, among the five sets of five branch vows, the first, the five vows to be known, are: All phenomena are primordially enlightened Buddhas, therefore, the five aggregates are the five Father Buddhas, the five elements are the five Mother Buddhas, the five consciousnesses are the five Bodhisattvas, the five objects are the five consorts, one should know that the five conceptual aggregates are the five mandalas. As stated in the Arrangement of Three Vows: The first, the vows to be known, are: The five aggregates and the five elements, the five consciousnesses, faculties, objects, and so forth, one should know are the nature of deities and mandalas. Thus it is said, and it is also explained in the Kunje (All-Creating) Tantra. Secondly, the five vows to be practiced are: The great vows, that is, when one is not skilled in means, and it turns into benefiting others, taking life, taking what is not given, engaging in impure conduct, speaking falsehood. As it says in that very text: The five vows to be practiced are: Tana Gana (Tibetan, Devanagari, Romanized Sanskrit, Giving), taking what is not given, engaging in impure conduct, speaking falsehood, these five are the practice of skillful means, not practicing them will lead to degeneration, practice with conceptual thoughts. Thus it is said. Furthermore, in the Bodhisattva Pitaka, it is also said: For those who possess great skillful means, afflictions transform into limbs of enlightenment. This is consistent with that statement, because there is no clinging to self-interest, therefore, the occasions when it is permitted for the benefit of others are earlier.

As taught. The third, the five vows to accept are: feces, urine, blood, white bodhicitta, and the essence of great meat, these five. As previously stated: "The five vows to accept are, feces, urine, etc., the five samaya substances." Its merits are also: In the Vajra Tent of the Dakini, it says: "The yogi who relies on Akshobhya, will completely eliminate all diseases, will always be radiant, the Vajra Sun will never age. By relying on the Vajra Dharma, one will enjoy all women. The Vajra arises from the bodies of sentient beings, is the great king with meaning, the glorious one who accomplishes all meanings, and the yogi will pacify. By the practice of drinking Akshobhya, one will live for five thousand years, will always be said to live for ten thousand years, the Vajra Sun will live for a billion years, and Immeasurable Life will live for countless years. As long as space exists, the seven suns will exist, the immeasurable Vajra Sun, these two, are the root of accomplishing samsara. If yogis practice these, they will be equal to the fortunate ones." Thus it is said. The fourth, the five vows not to abandon are: not to regard the five poisons as enemies like the Shravakas, but to make the nature of wisdom the path. As previously stated: "The five vows not to abandon are, desire, hatred, etc., the five poisons. In the secret Vajra great vow, transform the five afflictions into the five kinds of wisdom. Do not abandon the five poisons, but take the five kinds of wisdom." That is to say, if the five poisons are grasped by skillful means, they can also become companions on the path, therefore they should not be abandoned; the nature is wisdom, therefore they should not be abandoned; the essence is originally unborn, therefore they should not be abandoned; the nature of all dharmas is equality, there is no acceptance or rejection, therefore it is called the vow not to abandon. At will, even mantras cannot be used as the path, if grasped by skillful means, even Bodhisattvas can use it as the path, therefore in reality the purification of afflictions all converge on one point. The fifth, the five vows to be accomplished are: to strive to make the previous five knowables truly accomplished in one's own continuum. As that sutra says: "The five vows to be accomplished are, the five aggregates and the five great elements, as well as the five consciousnesses and objects, are those who accomplish the mandala. After perfecting the three samadhis and the five ritual actions, one becomes the mandala of the victorious five families.
