Yes. If explained in detail, it can be divided into three: The samadhi meditation of those without form in the continuum who have not entered the path is called the meditation of a child's practice. Those who have entered the path use the samadhi of accumulation and junction as the path to liberation, and because they can thoroughly distinguish the meaning, it is called the meditation of thoroughly distinguishing the meaning. The samadhi of the noble ones from the first ground onwards is called the meditation of no outflows or the joy of the Tathagatas. As it says in the Lankavatara Sutra: "The meditation of a child's practice, the meditation of thoroughly distinguishing the meaning, the meditation of the joy of the Tathagatas." The boundaries are similarly divided in the Chapter on Grounds. The result is, as it says in the Compendium: "Through meditation, one abandons contempt for the qualities of desire, and clarity, direct perception, and samadhi are manifestly accomplished." The meaning of these is, as it says in the Ornament of the Sutras: "The mind abides within, relies on mindfulness and diligence, produces happiness, freely controls the realm of direct perception, it is the chief of all dharmas, these three are possessed, having fully understood such meditation, the wise should truly practice it." The essence is the mind abiding within. The cause is continuous mindfulness and diligence, as it says in the same text: "Having quickly recognized distraction, one should again abide in it." The function is to generate happiness and to be the basis for accomplishing miraculous powers. The result is the accomplishment of direct perception and miraculous powers, etc. The divisions are: abiding in bliss in this very life, accomplishing all qualities, and the meditation of benefiting sentient beings, these three. The first is, internally, obtaining joy and bliss from the qualities arising from meditation. That is, the preliminary stage and the actual stage of the first dhyana, with both coarse examination and analysis, and the special feature of the actual stage, without examination but only with analysis, and the actual stages of the second, third, and fourth dhyanas, with no examination and no analysis, only mental engagement. These meditations are also such that the former serves as the preliminary stage for the latter, as it is said in the Chapter on Grounds. The meditation of accomplishing all qualities is the meditation of the part of the mind that is one-pointed when practicing the six perfections and other virtuous deeds. Mind

The Samadhi of accomplishing benefits, which is single-mindedly focused on the benefit of sentient beings, and from the actual mind of Samadhi, transforming whatever is desired and liked to accomplish benefits, and so on. Regarding the qualities, as it says in the same text: The sons of the Victorious Ones possess many samadhis, Accomplishing all aspects of meditation. Abiding in the supreme bliss of meditation, Relying on lower beings with compassion. Also through that very meditation, Placing all beings in the three Bodhis. Possessed by the wisdom of meditation, In these worlds, they place the inexhaustible. Thus it is. Regarding the wisdom that realizes the meaning of reality, there are also three, which extensively explain the nature of the three wisdoms. Then, the Perfection of Wisdom is: Wisdom has three, namely hearing, thinking, and meditating. Having accomplished higher seeing, it destroys the assembly of afflictions, Knowing well the reality of phenomena and entities, From the city of existence, one goes to the peaceful Nirvana. Thus, knowing the nature or reality of all phenomena as they are is hearing, and also, having ascertained it through thinking, and having meditated, one is liberated from the ocean of existence, which is the nature of wisdom. It is desired. In the Minor Commentary, it says: Or those arising from hearing, thinking, and meditating, or from the application of Samadhi, and the wisdom arising from reality and subsequence, and so on. Wisdom is called higher seeing, and it is also more excellent than all the other perfections, and in the position of individual ordinary beings, the wisdom arising from hearing is very important, because without hearing, one cannot think and meditate. Thus it is said: In the Uttaratantra, it says: Because generosity accomplishes enjoyments, Ethics leads to higher realms, meditation abandons afflictions, Wisdom abandons all afflictions and objects of knowledge, Therefore, this is the supreme cause, which is hearing. Thus it is also said: Wisdom is supreme, its basis is, Hearing, therefore hearing is supreme. Thus it is. Here, wanting to be proficient in understanding the nature of all phenomena, therefore, in this way, one establishes through hearing: Establishing it as the precious key of measurement, and establishing it as the treasury of the Dharma to be measured. The first has two, establishing it as provisional and definitive meaning, which is the Dharmata of all phenomena.
