All Bodhisattvas, especially mentioning and prostrating to the noble Akashagarbha, should intensely and continuously confess their accumulated sins. At dawn, recite: O Dawn, please carry out my message. I confess my sins to the noble Akashagarbha, please purify, remember, and bless me. Recite this three times. At sunrise, it is a sign of purification of sins: the body and mind are more comfortable than before, the sun shines gently, the sky is clear, and dreams are auspicious. Some supreme individuals sit in the lotus position and first speak the names of their sins in a manner like illusion and dreams. Then, they confess to the Buddhas and their sons in the sky in front of them. After that, they examine the nature of the sins themselves, whether they are internal, external, or both, analyzing their essence, characteristics, shape, color, and so on. As a result, they find that they do not arise from anywhere, do not abide anywhere, and do not go anywhere. Knowing that they are of the nature of emptiness, they remain in that state. Thus, they are liberated from all sins. The Sutra of Great Liberation, Chapter on the Increase of the Ten Directions, states: If a Bodhisattva possesses four qualities, all transgressions of moral discipline and all actions arising from afflictions will be purified. What are the four? They are: knowing that all phenomena have no origin, knowing that all phenomena do not arise, seeing that all phenomena do not cease, and that all phenomena arise dependently on causes and conditions, and are empty of inherent existence. Possessing these four qualities, transgressions of moral discipline and actions arising from afflictions will not occur. Furthermore, the Sutra of the Dharma King states: If one knows that all beings are one and not two, all obscurations will be purified. For example, just as dust that has accumulated on a mirror for a thousand years can be removed by wiping it with a cloth. Similarly, just as the darkness in an empty room, even if it has lasted for a thousand years, can be dispelled by a single lamp, so too, by knowing the true reality that the mind has no inherent nature, sins of countless eons will be purified in an instant. The Sutra on Entering the Ultimate Truth states: Son of the gods, Padma

Karpo asked: Manjushri, how should karmic obscurations be purified? He replied: Son of the gods, if one knows that karmic obscurations are inherently without substance, they will be effortlessly eliminated, just as wiping away coal from a conch shell with a cloth. The above explanation of guarding through the gate of knowing what is to be known is complete. Ninth, the order of the individuals who accomplish it is explained. Now, guarding through the gate of what is to be accomplished is shown. Among the two, the individual who accomplishes and how to accomplish, the first is: The Buddha-son is also of three types: Those who wish to liberate beings after liberating themselves, Are Bodhisattvas like kings; Those who wish to liberate themselves and beings together, Are Bodhisattvas like boatmen; Those who wish to pacify themselves after liberating beings, Are three Bodhisattvas like shepherds. In order, countless thirty-three, Seven and three attain liberation, It is said in the sutras that it is the order of faculties. That is also called the Bodhisattva's great aspiration, which is to first become a Buddha and then liberate beings. For example, a king who, after obtaining the kingdom, wishes to establish the well-being of his subjects. The aspiration of the noble Maitreya is taught in many sutras. Those who wish to liberate themselves and beings together are called the heart of supreme wisdom, like a skilled boatman who wants to cross to the other side of the river together with himself. Those who first liberate sentient beings and then wish to liberate themselves are called the incomparable aspiration, like shepherds and cowherds who see dangerous and frightening places such as cliffs, and in other places, they put them in front of themselves, and liberate them without leaving a single one behind, like the aspiration of Manjushri and Shakyamuni Buddha. Those with dull faculties will attain unsurpassed enlightenment and become Buddhas in countless thirty-three times, those with medium faculties in seven times, and those with sharp faculties in three times. In the Ratnakuta Sutra it is said: Those with great aspiration will be liberated from samsara in countless thirty-three times. Those with the heart of supreme wisdom,
