When I have the opportunity, I should immediately abandon it with mindfulness and transform all actions of body, speech, and mind's thoughts into Dharma. When sleeping at night, lie down on the right side with the head facing north, remembering death, remembering the Three Jewels as a pillow, and resting the mind in the state of Dharma nature like the sky. As it is said in the Bodhisattvacharyavatara: "Like the Protector's sleep of passing away, one should lie down in the direction of desire." Furthermore, day and night, one should recite prayers such as the Noble Deeds of Manjushri, or the seventy prayers composed by the teacher Melodious Voice, who is skilled in benefiting others, in front of images and stupas. Among them, the twenty verses show: As it is said in the Ratnavali: To the Buddha, Dharma, Sangha, and also to the Bodhisattvas, I always take refuge, and I prostrate to all those worthy of offerings. I turn away from evil deeds, and I completely take hold of all merits. I rejoice in all the merits of all sentient beings. I bow with reverence and folded hands, requesting the turning of the wheel of Dharma, and requesting the Buddhas to remain in the world until the end of samsara. May all sentient beings possess the supreme Bodhicitta through the merit of what I have done in this way, and what I have done and not done. May all sentient beings be stainless, complete, free from all adversities, have free and powerful actions, and have a good and prosperous life. May all sentient beings possess a jewel in their hands, and may all their resources be endless and never exhausted in samsara. May all women always be transformed into great men, and may all sentient beings possess wisdom and strength. May all sentient beings have beautiful complexions, be adorned with excellent marks and great splendor, be pleasing to see, free from disease, powerful, long-lived, and happy. May all be skilled in means, be liberated from all suffering and fear, always rely on the Three Jewels, and possess great wealth of Buddha's teachings. May loving-kindness, compassion, joy, and equanimity always abide, may afflictions be pacified and cooled, and may generosity, discipline, patience, diligence, meditation, and wisdom reach the other shore.

Adorned, may all accumulations be perfectly complete, with clear marks and characteristics, the inconceivable ten bhumis and powers, may they be attained. May I also possess these qualities, and may all others be adorned as well, liberated from all faults, may all sentient beings be loving, may all sentient beings be joyful, may all virtuous deeds be accomplished, and may I always alleviate the suffering of all living beings. Whoever in all the world, whoever is distressed by fear, even by merely hearing my name, may they be completely free from fear. By seeing, remembering, and merely hearing my name, may beings have excellent, undisturbed, genuine, and definite complete enlightenment, and may they attain the five clairvoyances that follow them in all lifetimes. May I always benefit and bring happiness to all sentient beings in every way. Whoever in the world, who intends to commit evil deeds, may all of them be harmless, may they always be stopped at once. Earth, water, fire, and wind, like medicine and trees in secluded forests, may they always be used freely and without hindrance by all sentient beings. Sentient beings are as dear as life, may they be even dearer to me. May their sins ripen on me, and may all my virtues ripen on them. As long as even one sentient being, has not been liberated wherever they are, therefore, even if I attain the unsurpassed enlightenment, may I remain there. By reciting this three times during the day and three times during the night, immeasurable merit will be attained. From that very text: Therefore, in front of an image or a stupa, or in any other place, these twenty verses, should be recited three times every day and night. And the merit of reciting these words, if it were a tangible object, even the realms of the number of grains of sand in the Ganges, would not be able to contain it. This was spoken by the Bhagavan. Furthermore, one should spend the days and nights learning as it is explained in the Bodhisattva Pitaka and the Sutras. Why is that? Although the leisure and opportunity are obtained for a moment like a star in a dream, if one does not seize the path in this impermanent body like a water bubble, then there will be no chance to seize it later.
