Dedicate for Bodhi. Thus it is said. The object of dedication is all the virtue of oneself and others related to the three times. As it is said in the Avatamsaka Sutra: "All beings have as much virtue as there is, what has been done, what will be done, and what is being done, like the excellent ones, in such places, may all be excellent." Thus it is said. Dedication is only for the Buddha-ground. As it is said in the Intermediate Mother Sutra: "Subhuti, this root of virtue should be dedicated only to the Buddha-ground, and should not be dedicated to the grounds of Shravakas, Pratyekabuddhas, or others." Thus it is said. What is to be done specifically is for all sentient beings to attain Bodhi. As it is said in the same sutra: "It should be dedicated for all sentient beings, not just for one's own attainment, because it will lead to falling into the grounds of Shravakas and Pratyekabuddhas." Thus it is said. The aspect is that all phenomena appear without existence, like dreams and illusions. One should also know that virtue is like dreams and illusions and dedicate it. As it is said in the same sutra: "Subhuti, all phenomena are like dreams, like illusions, and virtue should also be dedicated in the manner of dreams and illusions." And as it is said in the Sutra Requested by Bhadra: "Whoever gives to whom, how the giving is without focus, by that equality of giving, may Bhadra attain completeness." Thus it is said. It is not good to know the root of virtue as truly existent with focus or attachment. As it is said in the Compendium: "Like eating good food mixed with poison, the Victorious Ones have said that focusing on white dharma is similar." And: "If there is no sign, then it is dedication for Bodhi, but if there is a sign, then it is not dedication for Bodhi." Thus it is said. Therefore, one should be without focus or attachment. As it is said in the Ornament of Clear Realization: "That is the aspect of no focus, it is the characteristic of being non-reversed." Thus it is said. The nature of dedication itself is the mind that transforms the root of virtue into Bodhi with aspiration, and the combination of the power of special words. As it is said in the Array of the Qualities of the Field of Manjushri: "All phenomena are like conditions, they abide in the root of aspiration, whatever prayer is made, it will be accomplished in suchness." Thus it is said. The difference between dedication and aspiration is that dedication is the combination of words and aspiration after the cause of virtue has preceded. The cause is the root of virtue.

The aspiration that has not yet gone is the aspiration. It is also the dedication that transforms into enlightenment and so on through the power of the donor's mind and the power of words. What the teachers are doing these days is based on the assumption that they do not know for sure. Otherwise, they are witnesses, so the lamas and monks express their agreement that it will be accomplished by directing their minds after his words. The words should also be spoken as spoken by someone who has achieved true words up to the first ground. It is not appropriate to do whatever is possible, so we follow it here. As a witness to the accomplishment of the dedication, imagine the Buddhas and Bodhisattvas in the sky in front as thick as clouds. As said by the king when he became the power of love in the past, after giving his own flesh and blood to the yakshas, he said: May all be seen by this merit, Having attained the state of omniscience, May the enemies of all evils be defeated, The turbulent waves of birth, old age, sickness and death, May all beings be liberated from the ocean of existence. Such things should be done. Some people who seal with emptiness afterwards are very unreasonable. If you ask what is the purpose of it, it seems that they do not understand the form. Good deeds are like dreams, accumulators are like dreams, and receivers are like dreams. There is no real attachment in the three circles, which is called no purpose. If you say that meditating on emptiness without any good deeds is a nihilistic view, so you should understand it as a bad view and abandon it. In general, whatever good deeds you do, you should be supported by the supreme Bodhicitta of the preliminary practice, the main practice should be supported by the supreme wisdom without object and without characteristics, and the subsequent practice should be supported by the supreme dedication like dreams and illusions. If it is related to the three supremes, it is called the good of the part that is in harmony with liberation, and it is not the cause of the path of the Buddha. If it is not supported by this, it is called the part that is in harmony with merit, and you should know that the good results of each will only mature once and then be exhausted. Secondly, the way in which they purify their own minds. Thus, the necessity of performing the seven branches beforehand. For example, just as a cloth that has been cleansed by bathing, the color is clear when it is dyed. In this way, by going forward, the mind is purified, and the supreme mind of the main practice is clearly born in the mind. It is also an obstacle to the birth of the supreme mind.
