After focusing the mind, with a strong sense of repentance, in front of all the Buddhas and Bodhisattvas of the ten directions, in order to obtain perfect Bodhicitta and achieve the Bodhi of the Buddha, I confess and repent all the sins I have committed against the Three Jewels, Khenpo, Acharya, parents, and other sentient beings due to greed, hatred, and ignorance. I vow to strictly observe the precepts in the future as well. After reciting this three times, meditate on emptiness for a while, visualizing white light emanating from the heart of the deity, purifying the three doors of body, speech, and mind. Afterwards, the Acharya will ask whether the precepts are being kept, and the disciple should express gratitude. Among these, the former is self-discipline, and the latter is disciplining others. Fourth, regarding the basis for knowing that these can purify, it is said in the Sutra of Maitreya's Lion's Roar: 'All sins committed out of ignorance should be confessed and purified. After the wise confess their sins, the sins will no longer remain.' And in the Vinaya-vibhanga it is said: 'Whoever commits sins can purify them with good deeds, just as the sun and moon appear in this world when they are free from clouds.' And in the Buddha-pitaka Sutra it is said: 'Even killing parents and solitary Buddhas can be liberated by practicing emptiness.' And in the Karma-vibhanga it is said: 'The extremely evil deeds that have been done can be lessened by self-reproach. If one can sincerely confess and vow to strictly observe the precepts, it is like uprooting them completely.' And in the Suhrllekha it is said: 'One who was formerly negligent, if he later acts with caution, will be as beautiful as the moon freed from clouds, joyful Angulimala, seeing meaning, the four who bring happiness.' 'Rejoicing in virtue' The fourth branch is: I constantly rejoice in the infinite accumulation of merit of beings. That is to say, for the virtue of one's own nature, if one rejoices and meditates from the depths of one's heart, one will obtain the same root of virtue, and the merit will be immeasurable. As it is said in the Compendium: 'The Mount Meru of the three thousand worlds can be weighed and measured, but the merit of rejoicing in virtue is immeasurable.' Therefore, rejoice with sincerity and practice good deeds.

Furthermore, the words arising from this are: All Buddhas and Buddha-sons of the ten directions, All teachers of my own tradition, those with learning and without, Whatever merit of all beings there may be, I rejoice in all of that. Thus. The fifth branch, "Requesting to Turn the Wheel of Dharma," is: In order to liberate all beings without exception, I request you to turn the unsurpassed Wheel of Dharma. Just as when the Tathagata Bhagavan attained Buddhahood, Brahma offered a wheel and made a request, so too, I think of making a request before all the great virtuous friends and teachers. All those who are lamps of the ten directions, Who have gradually attained stainless perfect enlightenment, Before all those protectors, I request you to turn the unsurpassed Wheel. Thus. By this, the obscurations of abandoning the Dharma are purified, and in all lifetimes, one will uphold the sacred Dharma and never be separated from it. The sixth branch, "Requesting Not to Pass into Nirvana," is: From now until the ocean of existence is emptied, I request you to remain and not pass into Nirvana. Just as in the past, our teacher was requested by the layperson Cunda not to pass into Nirvana, so too, To all the Tathagata Bhagavans who reside in whatever realms of the world, And to all the teachers and virtuous friends who intend to pass into Nirvana at the end of their lives, I request you to remain until samsara is emptied. To those who wish to show the passing into Nirvana, For the benefit and happiness of all sentient beings, I also join my palms and request you to remain for as many kalpas as there are dust particles in the fields. Thus. By this, the sins of short life, untimely death, and harm to life by others are purified, and one will be able to attain immeasurable life. The seventh branch, "Dedication of Merit to Bodhi," is: By this merit, may I and all sentient beings, All attain perfect enlightenment at once. That is, directing and transforming the roots of virtue of oneself and others into perfect Bodhi, dedicating that as a cause for generating the mind of enlightenment. Prostration, offering, confession, And rejoicing, requesting, and praying, Whatever small amount of merit I have accumulated, All of that I
