From. Also exercise divine power, gradually attain Buddhahood. From Therefore, be sure to understand the karmic results in this way, the essence lies in constantly benefiting sentient beings, this is benefiting you. to In between, for the happiness of oneself and others in this life and the next, all virtuous dharmas Etc. . The third general meaning, to conduct a definitive examination of the nature of the dependent and the depended upon, among the six, the first is to show that the root of Dharma is the mind: Starting from the nature of the dependent and the depended upon, conduct a definitive examination. Dharma also depends on the mind, and the mind depends on leisure, arising from conditions. When all causes and conditions gather, as the main thing of Dharma, tame your own mind. Thus instructed. All dharmas depend on the mind, and the mind depends on the body of leisure, which is the arising of the dependent and the depended upon. The mind is the cause of all goodness in the realm of Dharma, and leisure is its companion or condition, in this situation, only taming one's own mind is what should be learned. The Suhrllekha says: "Tame your mind, the Bhagavan said, the mind is the root of Dharma." Thus it is said. Also, the Sagaramati Sutra says: "Lord of the Nagas, the mind is the root of all dharmas, arising from the mind, and manifesting from the mind, therefore one should fully understand the nature of the mind." And the Kunjed Gyalpo says: "All the dharmas that appear, are all manifested by the mind, and made by the mind." And the Lankavatara Sutra says: "Like images appearing in a mirror, although not real but appearing, because of not understanding the appearance of the mind, two kinds of discrimination arise, the connection of pure habits, Various kinds arise from the mind, but people see external objects, worldly people are only mind." And "The meaningless mind-nature, is the mind disturbed by habits, appearing as the true meaning." Thus it is said. Just like in a dream, what appears in the mind, in the state of mental confusion, clearly not existing but appearing in various ways inside and out, this is the appearance born from the confusion of habits. In reality, for what is not established as true, it appears in the mind as if it were true, therefore the mind is the root of all dharmas. These mountains and so on are
