It is said that only seeing the complete one as a human being, and then going to the place of Sarnath and so on. As it is said in the Bodhicharyavatara: The gods also with the body of the gods. This is how it is said. Fifth, the praise of leisure and endowment as the basis of all vehicles. Furthermore, like this: In non-discrimination, the wisdom of seeing the truth, among gods and humans, it is easier to be born as a human. The profound essence path of Vajrayana is also easy to obtain and accomplish the result with a human body. Therefore, the basis of all Dharma, great and small vehicles, is said to be the most excellent leisure and human body. It is said in the Treasury of Knowledge: Above the three existences, there is no path to liberation, not tired of scriptures, diligently cultivate here, and finally can achieve. As it is said in the scriptures. Moreover, the Suchness of mantra is also easier to achieve from the basis of the human body. It is said in the Sutra of Exhausting the Four Elements: This wonderful king of mantras, if people diligently practice, they can achieve it in this life, let alone yoga and siddhi? Therefore, leisure and endowment are praised as the basis of all vehicles. Sixth, contemplate the difficulty of obtaining. So, how should one contemplate the difficulty of obtaining? Like this, sitting comfortably, taking refuge and generating Bodhicitta, think about your own body adorned with leisure and endowment. Just like a poor person obtaining a treasure, like a dream, with doubt and four fears, think about leisure and endowment with joy and happiness. Therefore, the benefits of this life and the next and the supreme Dharma can be achieved. Think like this: Just like a poor person obtaining a treasure, this leisure and endowment that I have obtained is really satisfying, I must only practice the Dharma. It would be good if it were not a dream, with such fear and doubt, because of obtaining it, joy arises from the depths of my heart, and finally dedicate this merit to all sentient beings. As it is said in the Vinaya-vibhanga: For Mangala, one should think with one mind, that is leisure, remember with joy. The fourth common meaning is to dedicate the merit of this time. Like this, after well explaining the merit of proclaiming leisure and endowment for sentient beings, make the dedication: Like this, with this good and sweet nectar, may all beings completely pacify meaningless distractions, go to the edge of the forest, the tired mind troubled by the thorns of afflictions, may rest today. This is to say, may the real flowers never fade.

Having repeatedly explained the supreme nectar of peace, adorned by the earth, may all beings, having regained the leisure and opportunity from the distractions of this life, all rest their minds, long fatigued in samsara, for one lifetime in a secluded and delightful peaceful monastery! This is an instruction on a special place of rest, condensing the entire meaning of the chapter into a moment of the mindstream, and showing weariness with samsara. The dedication of merit after the completion of the chapter also appears, and the remaining chapters should be understood in the same way. In the peaceful forest, caves and medicinal lands are delightful, adorned with the dancing of flowers and the sound of flowing streams. May this mind, long fatigued, rest unwavering and still, and may it transform its state by making meaningful use of precious leisure and opportunity! There, may unruly people not be seen, may afflictions be pacified, and may the seven noble riches be possessed. Having abandoned this body together with life, may the king of mind go to the primordial ground! From the Great Perfection, Mind at Rest, the commentary on the first chapter, "The Difficulty of Finding Leisure and Opportunity." The second chapter, on the impermanence of life, has five parts: a brief statement of the same, a detailed explanation, advice to strive, a conclusion, and a dedication of the merit of the occasion. The first general point is a brief statement: Even though it is difficult to obtain leisure, it is necessary to practice diligence because it is unreliable. Even though such a rare leisure is obtained, it is momentary, impermanent, and of a fearful nature. If you examine it closely, there is no essence in it. Like a bubble and a mirage, it is unreliable. Day and night, one must contemplate death. Thus it is said. When leisure is obtained, there is not a single moment that can last forever, and like a banana tree, there is no essence, and it cannot be analyzed with intelligence. Like a water bubble, it appears as one for a while, but the nature of the limbs and parts being destroyed and separated should be examined. In particular, it is said in the collection of verses: Alas! All conditioned things are impermanent, they are subject to arising and ceasing. Since arising and ceasing have ceased, peace is bliss. Like a star, a mirage, a lamp, an illusion, a dewdrop, a water bubble, a dream, lightning, and a cloud, conditioned things are
