The generation stage, painted images, scriptures, and so on, From any virtuous object, Focus single-pointedly, without distraction, and abide equally. By abiding thus, the mind becomes workable, It does not stray elsewhere, it grasps the object to which it is directed. As long as you abide, you remain equally. When body, speech, and mind are pervaded by joy and bliss, Single-pointed, unwavering calm abiding is accomplished. Thereafter, to train in the meaning of insight, These outer appearances of existence, samsara and nirvana, all phenomena, With various appearances are like dreams and illusions, Like reflections, emanations, echoes, cities of gandharvas, Like cataracts and mirages, without essence. Appearance is empty, in the state of emptiness of self-nature, Everything is like the sky, without self, Abide equally in the unborn, free from elaboration. Thereby, external phenomena are without self, Grasper and grasped are understood to be without self-nature. Thereafter, examine the inner mind in this way: The mind with various thoughts, without essence, Such as negation and affirmation, truth and falsehood, happiness and suffering, equanimity, etc., That wanders to objects and cannot be grasped, you, Where did you come from in the beginning, where do you reside now? Where do you go in the end, what is your shape and color? When you examine in this way, you will see this: The mind is empty of the cause of arising in the beginning, Empty of abiding in the middle and ceasing in the end, Without color or shape, essence ungraspable, The past has ceased, the future has not arisen, The present does not abide, neither inside nor outside, Know it to be like the sky, free from elaboration. At that time, without thinking anything in the mind, Relax and let go as if cutting a rope. Without thinking anything, in the mind of the one who acts, Abide in the state of equality where all dualistic grasping is absent. Thereby, self-grasping, the self of the person, is without self, The mind that grasps is understood to be without self-nature. Thereafter, the coemergent, innate wisdom, The appearance and mind are non-dual, like water and the moon in water, Clinging to duality is confused in existence, By the wisdom of non-duality, one goes to peaceful nirvana. Therefore, train in the meaning of non-duality in this way: All phenomena are unborn, the essence of mind itself, The nature of mind is pure and without defilement, Abide in the stainless, empty-clear, free from elaboration. Thereby, the turbidity of afflictions is pacified, Abide in great non-conceptual wisdom, Clairvoyance and superknowledge, samadhi will be accomplished, Grasper and grasped are non-dual

When the correct view that is free from extremes arises, at that time the mind is like the sky, the object of focus does not appear, and the nature is free from elaboration. In the Dharma nature where there is no meditator or object of meditation, because there is no doer or deed, in the original state, it is the stainless, naturally pure Buddha. The object of grasping does not appear, like the moon in water or an eye disease, the grasper does not appear, unwavering, free from bias. Appearance and mind are inseparable, in a state of transcendence. Profound, peaceful, free from elaboration, luminous, unconditioned Dharma, the Dharma nature like nectar is understood. With the great ship of ungrasping, vast Samadhi, crossing the ocean of the three realms, on the basis of bliss, constant bliss is obtained, reaching the state of the Great Perfection of self-nature. Abiding in the emptiness of the Dharma body of peaceful abiding. Clarity is the nature of the appearance of the form body of insight, the two accumulations of skillful means and wisdom arise and are perfected. Having generated the wisdom of insight realization , with peaceful abiding, abide in that state. When the grasper and the grasped, real and unreal, the aspects of the mind do not abide, at that time the Dharmadhatu and wisdom are inseparable, the mind and mental events are extinguished without an object. In the mind-essence that is naturally pure from the beginning, when temporary, adventitious thoughts are purified , the nine successive abidings and miraculous powers are accomplished. Countless Samadhis transform into clouds of splendor. The mind that desires its own ground, the mind that is one-pointed , from this arises the Samadhi of investigation and analysis. The first Dhyana, which possesses the limbs of joy and bliss, arises. From this arises the Samadhi of no investigation but analysis, the second Dhyana, which is the nature of clear mind and bliss, arises. From this arises the Samadhi of no investigation and no analysis, the third Dhyana, which is moistened with joy and bliss, arises. From this arises the Samadhi of abandoning joy and bliss, the fourth Dhyana, which possesses the benefits and limbs, arises. From this arises a mind that is as pure and clear as the sky, the sphere of infinite space is obtained. From this, all Dharmas are mind, without elaboration, the sphere of infinite consciousness is obtained. From this, appearance and mind do not appear, free from elaboration, the sphere of nothingness is accomplished. From this, the mind that is free from all elaboration of existence and non-existence, the sphere of neither existence nor non-existence is accomplished. From this, the mind of various afflictions and elaborations, the cessation of self-nature, peace, is obtained. Thus, in the end
