O Moon! Decisively ascertain the nature of emptiness as appearance, understand the meaning of appearance and emptiness being non-dual, the two truths. By eliminating the abodes of the two extremes, train in the Middle Way, not abiding in samsara or nirvana, liberated in the state of space. This is the essence of the definitive meaning, the reality of the Great Perfection of self-nature. The objects of appearance have neither benefit nor harm, clinging to them binds one to samsara, so there is no need to investigate various appearances, but cut off the root of the clinging mind. The mind has no inherent nature in appearance, it cannot be found by searching, it cannot be seen by looking. It has no color or shape, no essence to be identified, no inside or outside, no arising or ceasing in the three times, no direction or boundary, no fundamental substance, this mind that cannot be indicated, is beyond comprehension. Cessation is not found, unborn in any place, not abiding in the present, the state of equality of self-nature. Do not seek mind with mind, rest in peace. Rejection and establishment, memory and awareness, moments are all objects of the mind, only appearance, there is neither inside nor outside. By the object to be sought, the seeker is also confused, searching for oneself, one will never be found. The meaning of primordially unborn, the original nature, the mind-essence that does not abide or cease, is the state of emptiness because there is no basis in the three times. In the various unceasing appearances, because there is no object or characteristic, it is not permanent. Self-arising and self-ceasing, therefore not annihilation. Neither two nor non-two, therefore unspeakable. Because there is no established thing, it cannot be identified. Know that self-nature is primordially pure. It is not there when examined, and it is not there when not examined. In the non-dual self-nature, the original essence, there is no good or bad to accept or reject, no hope or worry, so what is there to do with examination and analysis? Do not seek with the mind of the three times. The mind driven by the chaff of discursive proliferation, moves like a scattered wind, therefore it cannot be realized. The Bodhicitta that has no rejection or establishment, no coming or going, is the wisdom of Kunjed Gyalpo (kun byed ye shes), the essence of stainlessness. Place it as it is, and see it as it is. Here, what is the use of various numerous tenets, with speculative words and various discriminations? In the ultimate meaning, there is no establishment or non-establishment, no edge or center, no distinction of vehicles, pure like space, without limitation or partiality, to conceive of existence or non-existence in it is delusion.

That which cannot be spoken, how can it be described? It is utterly exhausting to labor in a place of no meaning. Like a delightful garden in the center of the sky, adorned with many flowers and fruits, and cascading waterfalls. Manifest in the mind, like distinguishing its categories, and arguing about agreeable and disagreeable sides. But in the stainless, pure nature of mind, no defilement of alteration is ever seen. What is the use of generation and completion in this? It only corrupts by meditating on a distracted samadhi. The mind-essence that is pure from the beginning , let go of aiming by being free from abandoning relatives and without attainment. Let go of special grasping by being without grasping inside and outside. Cut off attachment by being without identifying this . Abandon hope and doubt by being without beginning and without attainment. On the intelligence that does not change from the ground up, no matter what kind of diverse conditions arise, the arising itself is liberated on its own. Like water and waves, it is all one in the Dharmakaya. Wherever you look, the essence of the viewer is empty. It cannot be found by searching, it is not in the place or direction. The seeker himself is also imperceptible, free from elaboration. The actor does not abide, empty of the object of action. Like the sky, immaculate, it goes into the original state. There is no place to return, where will it go now? There is no end to it, and there is nothing that comes. No one sees it, where am I? If you know that, you don't need anything else. Those who are liberated are like me, and their delusions are cut off. Now I don't ask, I have lost the root of my mind. There is no support, no grasping, no certainty, neither this nor that. Letting go, being free, being distracted, are all one. Having realized this, now I sing. The immaculate light has dawned and shown the way. Hey ho, friends, look at the realm of appearances. All is unborn, equal in emptiness. Like various images appearing in a mirror, the mirror surface is clear and one. Likewise, look inward at the mind that distinguishes. The mind is like the sky, free from all affirmation and negation. Even if clouds arise and disappear in the sky, the magic of the sky is non-dual and pure . The self-nature is immaculate, the primordial Buddha, the Dharma nature that is uncreated and spontaneously accomplished. Object and mind are non-dual, primordially pure, without acceptance or rejection, without partiality, without affirmation or negation. Whatever appears is unreal, whatever arises is emptiness. All is equality, free from all grasping. There is no certainty in the object
