I prostrate! Furthermore, those not connected to the path of liberation, the four Brahmaviharas are the cause of samsara. Those four that are seized by the path of peace, the four immeasurables are for crossing the ocean of samsara. The object of contemplation is the limitless sentient beings, which is the nature of dharma. The manner of contemplation is all-pervasive, with and without objects. The former is limited, for a few sentient beings. The objects are impure, having objects is the cause of samsara. This is without objects, heading towards liberation, therefore, it should be practiced by those with compassion. Not possessing happiness, tormented by suffering, Happy and wealthy, and those with attachment and aversion to relatives and strangers. The object of loving-kindness, compassion, joy, and equanimity, The manner of contemplation is obtaining happiness, being free from suffering, Not separating from joy, having an equal mind, wanting to be capable. If there is no definite order of meditation, Then, the first person is initially equanimity, After equalizing relatives and strangers, then meditate on the other three. That is, the object of contemplation is all sentient beings, The aspect of the mind should be examined in this way. In this way, being attached to parents and friends, Hating enemies, your mind like this is bad. When wandering without beginning or end, this enemy also, Has done parents and other friends, accomplishing benefits. In return for his kindness, do you meditate on harmful thoughts? This relative has also done enemies, accomplishing harm. Even now, stop his suffering, How can you repay his kindness? The intermediate one may also become a friend or non-friend, Benefit and harm are uncertain, love and hate are unreasonable. Therefore, first to the friends and relatives, Like treating the intermediate one, attachment should be abandoned, Then to the enemy also like treating the intermediate one, Abandon hatred, and make it without relatives and strangers. In order to break the ignorance of the intermediate one, Contemplate eliminating the afflictions of sentient beings, Contemplate in this way being separated from existence. All beings want happiness, want to abandon suffering, However, they unknowingly engage in the cause of suffering. Alas, the miserable crowd of sentient beings' afflictions, May they all be pacified together with their imprints, and may the mind be equal! May all sentient beings tormented by strong attachment and aversion, Have an equal mind towards relatives and strangers, and be free from attachment and aversion! Thinking in this way, from one sentient being to two and three, From one place to one continent, from four continents to, One thousand, two thousand, three thousand worlds, practice. The measure of proficiency is equality between self and others, enemies and friends. Afterwards is the state of equanimity without objects. All sentient beings.

The nature of mind is like the sky. In the state of ultimate unborn emptiness, Place the appearance of mind in freedom from elaboration. The measure of proficiency is the arising of profound and peaceful realization. The fruit is a mind without near or far confusion, Residing in the meaning of reality, spontaneously accomplished by nature. When the mind becomes equal towards all in this way, Just as one's own mother desires to meet with happiness, Likewise, contemplate all sentient beings. The object of loving-kindness is all sentient beings, The form is the temporary happiness of gods and humans, Ultimately, may they meet with the happiness of enlightenment. From one to all sentient beings, Meditate in such a way as to encompass all directions. The sign is supreme loving-kindness that pervades all, Surpassing the mother's love for her only child. After that, rest in the state of equality of all. It is great unconditioned loving-kindness, The sign is the union of loving-kindness and emptiness. The fruit is that if seen, one obtains pleasing purity. After loving-kindness pervades beings, Just as parents cannot bear the suffering of beings, Think of the suffering of beings and generate compassion. That is also because my kind parents, For my sake, have committed sinful deeds, Suffering from the torment of heat, cold, hunger, thirst, killing, and so on, Drowning in the turbulent great river of birth, old age, sickness, and death, Oppressed by various kinds of suffering. They have no peaceful mind desiring liberation from this, and no virtuous friend who truly shows the path, Therefore, wandering in endless samsara is truly pitiful. Having seen these, how can one abandon them? Therefore, with my body and possessions, And the virtue of the three times, may the suffering of all beings , Be separated in an instant. Think in this way from the depths of your heart and bones. Unbearable suffering of beings is explained as a sign. After that, rest equally with unconditioned compassion. The sign is the union of emptiness and compassion. The fruit is a mind free from harmful thoughts and violence, The ability to work is accomplished in the very beginning of purity. Thus, for beings moistened by compassion, Meditate on joy, residing in their own happiness. That is also because the object is sentient beings with happiness, The form is "Ema, all these beings," Without me needing to make them happy, It is wonderful that they each find their own happiness. From now until the essence of enlightenment, May I not be separated from this happiness and joy.
