When one realizes the luminosity of intrinsic nature, it is superior because it demonstrates the practice of the outward manifestation of the luminosity of the self-sounding phenomena. As it says in 'Self-Arising': 'This self-arising king of awareness is present in everyone, but not realized.' Third, in Trekchö, the wisdom of awareness is sealed with a seal of invisibility, determining it as something that cannot be seen. In Tögal, the expanse of wisdom is opened, revealing the sunlight of dharmata. As it says in 'Sudden Leap': 'Because the reality of dharmata is directly manifest, the view of clinging to mental concepts is destroyed.' Fourth, in Trekchö, one relies on the coarse channels and winds, while in Tögal, one identifies the clear light channels and makes the lamps the actual path. As it says in the same text: 'Furthermore, through the channels and illusory wheels, the five wisdoms of self-manifestation are seen with eyes like bubbles.' Fifth, in Trekchö, one seeks purity in the phenomena of mind from the impure doors of the six senses, while in Tögal, the pure door of luminosity is stirred by the wind of wisdom, causing the manifestation of the four lamps to arise, making it superior. As it says in the same text: 'How does it arise from the doors? Stirred by the entering wind, from the four lamps arise the four activities.' Sixth, Trekchö seeks purity in the coarse and impure faculties of the invisible awareness, while Tögal has the distinction of directly examining the phenomena of the indivisibility of space and wisdom with the faculties of inner and outer all-penetrating wisdom. As it says in 'Sudden Leap': 'On the lamp of pure space, the bindu body and illusory appearances are pure. The very nature and essence, appear indivisible and inseparable.' Seventh, in Trekchö, the illusions of outer objects and inner mind are allowed to appear, and one cultivates growth in a state of non-acceptance and non-rejection, so they do not quickly dissolve. In Tögal, in a crucial instant, the illusions of outer and inner, together with the clinging to illusion, are naturally purified. Without abandoning, purity is cultivated in its original place, without relying on growth, and the increase of wisdom grows upward like a waxing moon. When the four visions reach their limit, one is quickly liberated. As it says in that text: 'The way things appear is not illusion, but in the nature of pure causes and conditions, phenomena and non-phenomena are self-purified. When the clinging to the objects of the five senses is purified, when the grossness of the elements is purified, the purity of wisdom shows increasing manifestation.'

From that is the nature of exhaustion. Thus it is said. If the differences of these are distinguished in detail, they are inconceivable. Briefly stating the general meaning: In short, because the meaning of wisdom is actually seen and observed, error vanishes in an instant, and because of relying on mental activity, taking erroneous appearances as the path, the difference of seeking the fruit of non-error, those endowed with the eye of wisdom should realize its greatness. Because this Dharma has such a key point, it is called the supreme, unsurpassed peak of all. The second meaning is that the indication of the special Thod rgal (Leap Over) itself has three: the three key points are the general indication of the wheel of Dharmata, explaining the wheel of clear light of day and night in byed brag, and extensively indicating the wheel of space-wisdom. The first has four: establishing the three key points of the body, viewing the three key points of the door, guiding the three key points of space, and the three key points of appearance-objects. The first is: whichever of the three postures of the body is adopted, it is necessary to keep the abdomen relaxed so that the channels and winds are in a comfortable state. If intentionally tightened, it will cause the winds and so forth to be disturbed and scattered, because the channels will be twisted and over-strained. There, while maintaining the way of viewing, the key point of the wind is extremely slow, exhaling from the mouth, this is the important point of gathering the key points of this special Dharma. That is to say, inhaling and exhaling from the nose is the common way, filling the four chakras, generating the samadhi that makes the mind clear and bright. In that way, the four obstacles of wind disturbance, scattering, stagnation, and dullness will arise, and erroneous appearances will not arise. Here, the increase that purifies the wind is not taken as the path. Because the mind's thoughts always arise and cease when filling the four chakras, they can never be completely stopped. Therefore, the karma-wind is released from the mouth to stop naturally. Entering solely from the nose, and then entering the channels of all four chakras. Because the differences of thoughts are the moving horse, it is stopped here. Connected to the mouth and lungs, in order for the lung's channel, like the tube of a reed, to release the mind's horse within it to stop naturally, the wind is slowly exhaled from the mouth, and held for as long as possible. The horse and the person separate, and the person dissolves into the awareness within the heart, thus producing the natural non-conceptual meditation.
